Wow. I'm so sorry that people at McKinley do that. You'd think we were back in the '00s, with Justin Timberlake on tour and people pointing others in the wrong direction just for a good laugh. Was the class at least worth all of the confusion?

My mom always taught me that asking for help is really okay, but hoo boy does getting pointed in the wrong direction, not help with me talking to people I don't really know. I just need to know how to get to to this one classroom. Oh well, I ended up finding it in the end and I'm so sorry to whatever makeout session I intruded on.

if you had to write a letter to your younger self, what would you say?

Trying to keep this short is nearly impossible, but I did try.

Dear Younger Blaine,

Life is full of ups and downs. Whilst you're still pretty young, you've also experienced a lot already. Keep charging forward.

Keep writing that fanfic that you're never going to actually publish. Keep singing and recording covers that you won't actually post either.

Keep trying with your family, to get them to understand you, it will be worth it. Don't forget who you are, despite the fact that people will try to change you or shun you for being yourself. Courage is strength.

Tri brows? I'm sure they're not pests, contrary to what one may believe. Are you not able to just walk around people?

oh is it, tri-brows? i think they prefer that term over vermin, which is what i usually call them. some bitch stole my parking spot, one asked me to move out of the way and one decided that while i was walking down the hallway, she would make some proud stance and not move for me as all the other, much smarter peasants did. i corrected their errors.

Do you think the warblers have a shot at winning sectionals soon?

Of course I do! We've been working very hard, and I think that will show at Sectionals. We have quite a versatile bunch, everyone has their own performing talents that they bring to the table. I'd be nervous if I was competing against us.

wait, is that BLAINE ANDERSON? they kinda look a lot like EVAN MOCK, don’t they? i heard the 21 year old is known as the DAPPER ONE around mckinley. it seems like they auditioned to be in THE WARBLERS (CO-CAPTAIN) which is so lame? people at campus have said they’re DEBONAIR, but don’t be fooled since they’re also -LOQUACIOUS. rumor has it, you can find them at DRAMA, FIGHT CLUB, AND PHOTOGRAPHY when they aren’t belting show tunes. their entire vibe revolves around BOWTIES, A LARGE COFFEE, AND SUSPENDERS but no one pays attention to that here in ohio.

HEADCANONS:

Blaine has been out since he was ten years old, announcing that he he was gay at a family Thanksgiving as he stood on his chair. It hasn't been easy, his dad wasn't always the most supportive dad growing up, but both his mother and father eventually came around to accepting their son for who he was.

His hair has always been a source of insecurity, or rather it was. He used to spend hours in the bathroom before school, self conscious about his curls. He overused hair gel, and his hair became somewhat unhealthy from the overuse. He buzzed his head prior to his first semester in college, and has been keeping it short ever since.

Being popular isn't that important to him. Blaine has many interests from Star Wars to Broadway. He isn't ashamed of what he likes and isn't into everyone labelling what's popular and what isn't. He just likes what he likes.
