                  she’s  been  trying  to  start  this  car  for  almost  ten  minutes  sob.  her  white  dress  was  beginning  to  become  stained  with  the  makeup  dripping  off  of  her  face.  usually,  she  would  be  inside  the  house  where  loud  music  and  laughter  were  coming  from.  this  time  was  different  than  most  because  yuri  had  just  gotten  dumped.  it  was  out  of  the  blue  really  and  so  shocking  that  the  only  thing  she  could  do  was  rush  outside  to  what  she  thought  was  her  car.  after  having  tried  to  start  the  car  for  the  last  several  moments  she  burst  into  tears  wailing  loudly  probably  startling  those  who  were  walking  by.  

over  the  span  of  two  minutes  ,  jude's  had  a  handful  of  different  people  rushing  up  to  them  with  the  news  of  car  being  stolen  .  it's  not  something  that  he  easily  believes  ,  not  when  the  car  runs  like  shit  and  most  of  the  back  is  fucked  .  still  ,  they  can't  risk  it  being  true  .  not  when  he's  still  got  to  play  driver  for  the  night  .  the  sight  he  runs  out  to  is  most  definitely  not  what  mind  had  created  .  "  excuse  me  ?  "  they're  treading  lightly  ,  too  scared  of  potentially  startling  sobbing  person  .  "  you're  kinda  trying  to  break  into  my  car  .  "  is  it  still  considered  breaking  in  if  he'd  purposely  left  the  door  open  ?  a  topic  to  think  about  later  .

          KNUCKLES GENTLY TAPPED at the front door, hand returning to tap against the box held in her hand. sofia had found the box at the back of her closet, having completely forgot that she had even put it there after their breakup. it seemed like the perfect excuse to see them again after the long months apart, but now that she was here, she was starting to think it was a bad idea. thirty seconds had barely passed before she reached up to ring the doorbell. maybe they didn’t hear the knock, or maybe she was just a little impatient. it was likely the latter. “ please be home. ” she murmured to herself, teeth sinking into her lower lip as she tried to control the growing nerves, and fight the want to dump the box and run. 

the  moment  bell  rings  all  romie  can  feel  is  the  building  pressure  of  migraine  .  the  temptation  to  ignore  is  there  ,  pulling  at  every  fiber  of  his  being  .  after  all  ,  he's  not  prepared  to  deal  with  the  multitude  of  people  it  could  be  .  somehow  he  finds  body  moving  to  door  anyway  ,  as  if  relying  on  muscle  memory  to  operate  .  not  that  it'll  continue  this  way  ,  not  after  door  is  finally  opened  .  now  his  body  works  to  straighten  up  ,  hands  crossing  over  chest  as  if  he's  closing  himself  in  however  he  can  .  perhaps  he's  only  trying  to  keep  himself  from  sparing  any  emotion  in  front  of  sofia  .  it's  the  only  way  he  can  think  to  protect  himself  .  "  what  do  you  want  ?  "  words  come  out  colder  than  meant  but  perhaps  it's  good  that  way  .  "  i  don't  want  to  see  you  .  "
