no but seriously. i havent been a fan of rooster teeth in years, and the company was Awful, but like. i spent literally the entirety of my teenage years watching rooster teeth content. they were a HUGE part of my life for so long. and they undeniably had a big impact on just the internet in general. so like, while they were a terrible company and its high time something like this happened, its still sorta...bittersweet? melancholy?

augh, neither of those really feel like the right words. im not necessarily sad to see the company go. its been dying for years. im more sad to see something that was just so important to me at one point disappearing with such finality. its like when ah officially ended. despite everything it was something that meant something to me at one point, despite not liking or supporting them anymore seeing it shut down still kinda sucked

and i wish the best to all the people who lost their jobs. tbh thats the worst part abt it. its putting what, hundreds? of people out of their job

anyway. thats my thoughts on the matter. goodbye rooster teeth. you wont be missed as you were, but weve been mourning what you used to be
