What a week. It was crazy stressful, mega fun and super productive. Thousands of photos have been taken and as soon as people have crawled out from under their duvets long enough to upload photos, and Nick Hodge has mustered up the strength to sort through the crazy amount of footage he's taken, this blog is going to be flooded with eye candy. Practising with my stencils on the wall of the volunteer house, with some obvious errors. Still look pretty cool, though.

I've been spraying up a selection of foliage to see which has the best longevity. Pine is fairing the best so far, no surprise there, but the waxy rhododendron leaves are holding there own, too and look pretty cool.

Stencils on sheet vinyl material and spray-painted branches. I've done a wider variety of experimentation in the two months I've been at Kelburn that I have in the last year at college. Woo! Professional practice!

With less than two weeks until the Garden Party, preparations are finally getting started. I had intended to start about two weeks ago, but that just didn't happen, so now it's all about getting as much done in the fastest, most effective manner possible, which means a lot of running around, a lot of late nights and some very sore fingers. I'm collating as much references material as I can here on the blog, but hopefully soon there will be more pictures of my own work, and eventually, some photography from the event itself.
