Spec Time!!
Following up with some spec ideas I had whilst chatting with some of our lovely Discord Fam:
So Oliver (and FTA…ALL OF FTA GHDSJLGHDSJGFSLDHGJDSG!!!!) were just returned to the bunker in present day (ish). BUT Dig was in the bunker, when he was supposedly off on that mission with Lyla (can’t remember where they actually were meant to be for that haha).
Sooo…what if Oliver et al were actually brought back to the bunker during the Olicity Cabin Honeymoon? This would mean that there are currently 2 Olivers/Mias/Willams/Connors on E1.  This could mean that Oliver still ends up sacrificing himself during the Crisis….BUT!!!! Cabin!Oliver still remains and gets to raise his family in hiding with Felicity!
Oliver would TOTALLY sacrifice himself to give that future back to Mia/William/Felicity/himself. This would correlate with Stephen saying there are multiple Olivers in the crossover, would still let the show murder us, seeing Oliver die, still allow Oliver to make his ‘hero’s sacrifice’ 🙄 but then give him his ultimate reward of a do-over and a chance to right the horrible future fated to Star City, basically our happily ever after! 😍😍😍
Aaaanyway this will all probably be debunked when we find out next week that they just teleported Oliver back to Star City and Diggle just got a quick flight back home, but let a girl dream for a week 😂😂😂
Tagging the ladies that were there at the time of spiralling haha: @1-crazy-dreamer @puck038 @chrissykins-for-the-win @lupin72 @laxit21

I agree with you @dmichellewrites about rebourning especially with how big it was.
I’m Not Here for the Blame Game
I know I just answered a couple questions for my thoughts regarding Emily’s season 7 departure. But I refuse to respond to comments like “Emily could’ve done season 8. She lives in Vancouver.” Or “Steve’s a greedy pain in the ass. How dare he do season 8 without her.”
That’s not only rude and uninformed. But here’s the thing, guys and gals. None of us know the full story. It’s possible that Emily has another job and can’t do season 8 due to scheduling.
As for Stephen, I know he can be rude, obtuse, and just plain stupid/ignorant on certain things. However, Arrow ain’t one of those things. He’s done nothing but praise Emily’s work on the show and called her “his favorite scene partner”.
Tumblr media
Besides with the build up for next year’s crossover, it’s pretty clear he’s at least contractually obligated to do those crossover episodes.
While he mentioned in his Facebook video, Greg “invited him back for a ten episode run”. I could be wrong, but personally I don’t see him doing all 10 episodes. I see him doing premiere, crossover, and series finale. Again, I could be wrong.
I know a certain group of people will still “Fuck you, Steve, Greg, and Beth” But I ain’t about that. It’s just that now I know the show’s story ended for me at Mia’s birth.
Oh and this, I’ll just leave this here.

Thank you for that. I was thinking the same thing. About her the company from the cabin. Hate she’s leaving though
I need to know your thoughts on Emily not returning next season. Cause my hearts breaking. Think they’ll kill her off? Or her and Oliver run and away?
I’m certain Felicity does not die. We see her give birth to Mia in what would’ve been a hiatus timeline, and we see her in 2040. I don’t know how they’re going to write her out. But I presume it would have to do with raising Mia and running her company remotely from the cabin, where Mia was born.

Best theory I’ve read all day
Time of Theories
Hi guys! it’s been a long time since my last post “written” for tumblr and - for those who can’t remember - my first and only written post (wow I really suck in keeping a social page)  was this one : Time to Talk  After that I shared gifs and videos, but no words … as my time is really limited and for me it is easier to write my theories and considerations in my mother language that is Italian. But since the news of the end of Arrow, I have decide to save some time to write my theory on the future that we are seeing in this 7season and on how, we come to that future. So, put on your seat belts and get ready for a lot ‘of madness. “If someone robs a casino, if someone hacks into a bank and empties its accounts, where do you think they stash their money? Under the mattress? If a criminal organization wants to build an arsenal… experiment with bio-warfare… take control of a city... where do you think they seek out loans? Evil is expensive. Let me put this as crassly as possible. The bad guys make trouble, but the really bad guys make trouble possible. Probably this comes as no surprise to hear… the really bad guys? They're bankers. The Ninth Circle is a bank.“  I don’t think they mentioned the Ninth Circle in the show yet.. so, anyone who isn’t a nerd like me, probably has no idea why I’m starting my theory with this quote.. well let me explain: The Ninth Circle in the comics is an international criminal organisation and bank, and their team leader is Dante.  Guess who else is part of the organization? Emiko Queen. A this point , we can definitely say that the enemy against whom Oliver is going to collide is The Ninth Circle.  The next point I want to address is: why?  Why does Dante want to ruin Oliver’s life? We can be sure that his target is Oliver, given the connection with Emiko and the clear implication that her appearance in the city was all Dante’s plan to earn Oliver’s trust.. but why?  I mean, we know that Oliver attracts criminals from 2012.. but each one of them has always had a reason. So what is Dante’s reason? Personally, I think the answer to that question is in that quote up there. Criminals need money to carry out their evil deeds. I’m sure Malcolm Merlyn and Moira Queen needed money for their plan to destroy the Glades. Money that had no connection with them. As I’m sure that the league of assassins needed money for their businesses. And what about Diaz? O Damien Dark .. take the control of a city it’s expensive.  All of them needed money for their plans .. and all of them saw their evil plans collapse at the hands of Oliver Queen. Consequently, every time Oliver Queen defeated one of his enemies, he brought damage even to Dante and his association..  Are you starting to connect the dots? If Dante has funded almost all the big bad during the previous seasons, he certainly has more than one reason to be angry at Oliver.. and, if we look at the past, we can find more than one link to "finance” this theory. Like..have you ever wondered why Malcolm faked his own death ?  it cannot ‘surely be for “fear” of Oliver .. or to escape the law (considering that he himself has corrupted the judge in favor of Moira)  So why? perhaps for fear of the debt he owed to Dante? the same fear that Diaz had before dying?  And it’s equally possible that he returned, only to manipulate Thea in killing Sara and by doing so, start his plan to get the League of Assassins .. so that he can repay Dante of his debt. We all know that in the end it is always Oliver who stops Malcolm, delivering the LOA in Nyssa who decides to disband the group.
Tumblr media
Another serious monetary loss for Dante. It’s also true that Dante after all that didn’t kill Malcolm … but perhaps through his work in the league, he was able to repay his debt. Definitely not what happened to Diaz.  He took for sure a lot of money from Dante, for his plan to take over Star City, and let’s not forget that Diaz was a connection too close to Dante’s identity.  I’m sure Damien also needed a lot of money for everything he built. And what about Argus? I assume that their connection with Dante is always a monetary issue. Like they get money from him. Basically, Dante has always been the invisible enemy that Oliver never knew he had and now it’s here. I think that there is more than one clue that assures us of Dante’s victory in this battle that is about to begin ..but what we really want to know is:  what will happen to Oliver Queen?  Will Dante kill Oliver and we will be thrown into the horrible future that we see?
Tumblr media
I don’t think so. Even if they are deliberately making us believe that Oliver is not present in that reality .. none of them has ever said Oliver is dead. William even believes that his father abandoned him …but if you’re dead, you can’t abandon someone. You have no choice.  AND! if his father died, William would know. I mean, such news wouldn’t have gone unnoticed .. or in any case, it would have been communicated by someone on the team at the very moment it set foot in Star City. also … let’s pretend for a moment that Oliver is dead. Why should Felicity risk Mia’s safety and stay in Star City? We know how much our it-girl is heroic, but considering that we are talking about the safety of her daughter, I think she would surely have left the city .. unless, there is a reason she can’t do it.  Let’s see this reason. During this week’s episode I found this conversation between John and Felicity curious.
Tumblr media
Obviously it is a reference to the Archer’s program, that we see in the future. but the part that really caught my attention was this sentence from John.
Tumblr media
ARGUS wouldn’t be the only corporation hunting for Felicity tech! So, what if.. Dante captures Oliver and to save his life Felicity makes a deal with him. She will return Oliver’s debt (that is, all the money that Dante lost because of Oliver in this seven years!) plus the interest, selling her technology..   Dante then finances Helix, Felicity’s company, taking his Archer program for start.. and that’s why she starts to be considered a villan … since she works for Dante!  I also believe that Dante will place the blame for the destruction of the town on Oliver, and on the heroes in general .. and I think Dinah, Renè..and even Roy .. end up believing that Oliver went mad, causing the ruin of the city. That’s why in the first half of the season Dinah and Roy have that strange conversation when Dinah said she didn’t know if she could trust William, because he was Oliver’s son. Then she talks about Oliver with William in the past tense, as if he were dead.  While Felicity in this week ep spoke of Oliver at the present tense. Like he’s still alive. So, could it mean that some consider him dead and only Felicity and John know he is still alive, but a prisoner of Dante? And could it be that Oliver doesn’t try to escape or fight because Dante threatened William?  Basically for Dante, it becomes more convenient to leave Oliver alive, because he has a continuous income of monetary gain through Felicity and an enemy who was ruining all his business in check. This would explain why despite the danger “Dante”, William has never been targeted.  And it also explains the presence of Felicity in Star City, the rumors about her being a villan and her protecting Mia’s identity from the possibility that Dante also uses her to blackmail them. But there is still something to explain. In the promo of the next episode in fact, we see an arrow pierce the family photo of Oliver and Felicity. Obvious that arrow belongs to Emiko. Which means she’s the one who finds them in the place where they hide .. but if Emiko finds them, why is Dante not aware of Mia’s identity? Things are two. O Dante knows about Mia’s existence and the reason why Felicity hides Mia identity is the reputation that Oliver has in the city because of Dante’s lies …or Emiko’s double game begins when she decides not to reveal Mia’s existence to Dante.  I also think it is possible that René ends up among the bad guys, following Emiko .. as it is clear that those two end up together.  It’s likely that he is also playing a double game..so maybe Emiko falls in love with Rene, sees that his brother is different from his father .. and that Dante is the real villain. therefore she betrays Dante. Another thing I believe is that Dante will kill .. Thea. It will be a this point that Oliver and Felicity will decide to leave the city for keep Mia safe and a secret.. and I think this will happen by the end of this season. They will leave the city, when the city needs them most … and without an explanation for Dinah, Renè o Roy. So Dante will take the city. Roy will end up going to the island, unable to avenge Thea. And just like this the whole future we are seeing will take shape. so yeah, this is my theory. What do you think? Am I ready to go to the asylum? kisses to all!

okay i’ve just had such a perfect idea for the layout of a wedding ceremony that i drew a diagram and will now describe it
so a traditional set up for a ceremony would look like this, with the audience lined up in front of the couple, and divided in the middle to make a path for the bride to come down and be given away by her father to the groom
Tumblr media
instead, i propose (ohhh puns) a set up more like this:
Tumblr media
where the audience is on either side (which halves the distance that the farthest person is from the action) and at the same time you can have each half of the couple come down aisles on opposite sides and both be given away by their parents to each other (which takes away all the gross sexist and hetero-normative crap)
just… isn’t that way better???

5x20 title is "missing" people are saying that Chase is gonna kidnap someone (some are saying William) and take the person to Lian Yu. What do you think?
Hi, Nonnie!
Sorry I couldn’t reply sooner. I was on vacation.
Anyway, I think it’s 5x22 that is called “Missing”, but I do agree that it’s most likely that Chase is the kidnapper and since we are getting very close to the finale, I am sure we are approaching the last showdown with big steps. It’s also most likely that he is going to take whoever he kidnaps to Lian Yu, especially given the latest pics on Willa’s and I think Katie’s Instagram (though I hear they were deleted).
Okay, this got kind of long, so the rest is under the cut. ;)

By the end of Season 4, Felicity decided she couldn’t be with Oliver until he could be completely honest with her, and the pair called off their engagement and ended their relationship. “One of the reasons that relationship happened is that we wanted to write to the chemistry that’s obviously palpable between Stephen and Emily. We also really want to honor where those characters are. We left them ambiguous at the end of Season 4, they’ll stay ambiguous for a while. Olicity fans will get some answers in episode five. From there, we are going to write to see where [Stephen and Emily] take them. If that leads to reconciliation, then we’ll write to that. If not, we’ll have to see what happens. A lot more clarity is coming in episode five.

I just love you, Allie!
You are one of my two closest friends here. We can discuss Arrow and Olicity things without getting at each other’s throat. And we don’t only talk about Arrow or Olicity, but about general things, too.
You’re my friend and I know I can always message and talk to you, no matter what it is about, and that is my favorite thing about you. :)
