ooc;; admittedly I still don’t know Tangle too well yet, I still gotta get further into the IDW comics before I word vomit some talk out there, but Amy??

so like??? amy, big heart, something of an extrovert around others who’s all too happy to make good with new folks and make friends, and you know what?? Coco’s this new girl in the resistance who came from a deserted island without many friends aside from her eccentric brother and a talking mask - she could probably use a hand at getting used to this place? Someone as openly caring and passionate as Amy would probably be good for her - Tails as a friend’s cool and all, but Amy could be good for getting her some real worldly experience, since that’s something she does not have now. Teaching her the fun of shopping, of day-to-day conversation, of the world off the island; and someone able to help her see that the world outside of the Wumpa Islands are more than a punchline for her to be cynical about considering how much of a dick Cortex and now this Eggman guy are.

She’s social enough to want to get to know Coco, empathetic enough to keep up with her and her oddities, down to earth enough to actually help her out with the things she doesn’t have experience with in civilization yet… if she plays her cards right, heck, she could hearing “big sis!” in no time!

… Just don’t tell her to get off her laptop. Can’t advise that enough, Amy. It’s for your own good.

ooc;; Despite Crash’s... oddities, Coco looks up to Crash like you wouldn’t believe.

ooc;; Sure, he’s not very book smart. He’s kinda dim-witted, a total cloudcuckoolander, can’t follow along with Coco’s smart talk at all, and he’s lazy... but he also happens to be one of the nicest folks Coco’s ever met ( granted, he’s kinda the first not-Cortex folk she’d met on good terms at the time, but still ). Someone strong enough to fight, but nice enough to let someone like Coco into his life without a second thought; someone who may not get Coco at all, who doesn’t really get anyone very well, but he takes an obvious joy in Coco just enjoying herself; and to that end, Coco could say the same for him. ( Besides... Coco can be a bit weird in her own right. )

They certainly have a very odd adoptive sibling dynamic, but the two are absolutely inseparable, and rest assured; she’s thinking about her older brother a lot anytime they’re fully apart.

Like?? Okay first off there’s the obvious fact that they’re matched in having an incredibly high IQ and have an unnatural grasp on technology and mechanics. So obviously their mutual fascination in each others’ capabilities goes without saying

But also??? They’re two very different kinds of folks once they get past nerding out to each other; they’re both nerds and know how to ramble about what they’re passionate about, but while Tails has pushed out of his bubble, making friends and taking the lead on his life; despite Coco’s friendliness, she’s surprisingly reclusive. She always defaults back to her laptop over making a casual conversation, kinda struggles with too much sociality going on at once, and honestly would probably have some issues getting acquainted with off-the-island life, especially when she’s gotten roped into saving the planet and stuff. She needs a middle-man to help her warm up to the bigger picture, someone more familiar to get her used to the less familiar shit considering she’s used to having only a few in-the-flesh friends in her life. Tails would be great for Coco like. easing into things?? He’s someone for Coco to gripe about the complications of this off-the-island stuff to; between all the rules to follow and the society she’s been so split from, seeing what all the hubbub is about that Sonic guy… Tails would be a great friend for like. helping her get used to all this new shit because hey, Tails had his own trouble with people himself, once, even if for different reasons.
