I’m sorry but the eclipse (2010) proposal scene is way better, like a million times better, than the proposal scene stephenie wrote. Like. In the book it’s so stale — it feels like Edward tricking Bella into marriage. BUT, the movie scene w the sia song and that beautiful ring and the whole thing w Edward explaining about how he’d steal a kiss only after he’d asked for her father’s blessing and then Bella breathlessly saying “yes.”

Movie Bella was actually happy about getting married, at least more than book Bella was.

OH and the whole build up of the song and Edward picking Bella up and spinning her around. Like YES WE STAN
