You'd be suprised how expensive these franchise items are in real life. Like Luke Skywalker's lightsaber in the original films would sell for millions, or the ring in LoTR. It may seem stupid like 'its a ring, its a stick, its a tiara' but its practically the holy grail in the fandom. Considering how big the panda fandom is in the book, wasn't that suprised to find that the tiara is worth millions.

I agree with all of this, I even think maybe MC will give up Zoe because of pressure. I mean, she loves her daughter more than anything else in the world. I can really see her willingly giving up Zoe just so she can have the best opportunities in life, though its with Guy. Then the whole allergy thing happens, as you predict and she decides to fight for Zoe after all. Custody battle ensues and we win because Zoe chooses MC over her scumbag father.

Things that I predict will happen in MOTY:

Guy is definitely not over us and will try to win us back.

He’s totally going to harass us/try to kiss us at our door and Levi will fucking destroy him.

Guy will try for custody of our daughter after that— and her swoon her with gifts and false promises to where she will stay with him on weekends or something.

We will go to court for our daughter... and Thomas will rep us and Vanessa will rep Guy.

It’s possible that we’ll lose because Guy has money and has a house and not an apartment and is a “changed” man.

We will fight with Thomas/Eiko/Levi to get primary custody back to us.

However, he’s going to fuck up majorly and disappoint her— or WORSE— feeds her something with soy (FROM HIS SNACK COMPANY) and she ends up in the hospital because he doesn’t have the pen. (SHIT THATS GONNA HAPPEN)

Daughter will realize that we are truly looking out for her best interests and that we are... “The Mother of the Year”.

We get full custody back and Guy either dips (likely) and we live in bliss with our LI, or he gets her every other weekend and his snack company fails.

Yes, this 👆 it was so weird to me how throughout the book the Mom was hesitant to let go of the Dad and for me, that was ok. She loved him and its hard letting go, I get it. Then, all of a sudden, she finally meets the artist and she's being paired with him? Tf???

Its time to move on, yes but nobody moves on that quick. I would've been on board if they showed it as a friendship FIRST. Otherwise, it just seems like a rebound.

All this time I’m thinking maybe sunkissed is being deep about grief and I’m just unable to relate because I haven’t lost someone close to me ... then they proceed to set up the mom with the artist? Like whoa there what is happening
