So I’m taking a break from RP - or at least on this account. This is not in light of the recent events but something I have been thinking about for a while. What transpired last night was the final push, but I must remind you that I am adhd and tumblr rp has been my hyperfixation for years now. It is something that transpired from a light hobby, to something that I’m unhealthily addicted to. It’s gotten to the point where I’ve been prioritising RP over other aspects of my life that require my attention, like my studies, for example, and my mental health (specifically my anxiety).

Overall, I have enjoyed my time here. I’ve met some really amazing people that I will continue to keep in contact with on discord and my other accounts, and I’ve also had the pleasure in observing some really amazing amounts of creativity and talent from the people I follow. I love Luke and always will. It’s been so enjoyable exploring his character and expressing how much he means to me, but I’m stressed. I’m really, really stressed. And tumblr has a huge part of that. I can’t go a day without thinking about coming online in case I’m seen as some sort of disappointment for not staying active.

It’s not healthy.

I wont delete this blog. I’ve written too much on here and, personally, I don’t want to wipe that away. You can follow me on @hisyield which will be the ONLY ACCOUNT I will be active on until further notice. I also have another blog which I would rather keep private and VERY low activity (I’ve already deleted the promos off my blog).

* APPRECIATION !  recently, i reached the milestone of 500 + followers … which is amazing !! but not only that, but as of 1.27.2018, i’ve had this blog for a month !! i’m so amazed by the love & support i’ve received. i’m in absolute awe over the lovely friendships that i’ve made. needless to say, i’m just extremely blessed. very, very thankful. i know tumblr & the star wars roleplay community have horrific reputations, but there are many, many gems in this community. so many beautiful & kind people. so many talented and loving individuals. so needless to say, thank you so much for sharing your love for these characters & your wonderful talents of writing & remarkable portrayals. it’s absolutely marvelous. and i thank you for allowing me to be a part of it.
