What if I tell you that all your favourite Indian Street Food and your go-to AUTHENTIC INDIAN FOOD is now in Toronto? YES, you've heard it right and if you still don't believe me? Indian Desire is a new restaurant located in downtown Toronto offering artistic takes on traditional, authentic Indian dishes. Their food is best paired with some delicious cocktails or an assortment of wines and beers. and this is what I tried: ⁣ 🔹 Delhi Style Tandoori Chicken⁠ 🍗 The traditional tandoori chicken comes in a pomegranate and leaf salad. It is served with Mint and Coriander Chutney. 🔹 Corn Kurkure Crispy baby corn tossed with assorted pepper and, chillies. 🔹 Marwari Bhindi 🍲 The Starry-eyed okra is cooked together with onion & tomato, topped with black & white sesame. 🔹 Chicken Tikka Masala 🥘 Broiled Chicken teams up with tikka masala and marinated in yogurt in a creamy, spice-infused tomato sauce. 🔹 Za'atar Naan Za'atar is a Middle Eastern spice made from a blend of sesame seeds, thyme, salt and dried sumac. The naan is soft in the middle, crunchy around the edges. 🔹 Gulab Jamun It was stuffed with gulkand (rose petals and honey) filling was so authentic that it reminded me of the ones I had back in India. 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 😋 --------------------------------------- The buzz of downtown is now here in Sauga. @mongacanada is popular for their authentic Taiwanese Fried Chicken and yesterday, I was invited to try out their popular eats. Their newest home is in Mississauga and, it's a paradise for all the chicken lovers. So, what all I had? - Signature spicy fried “hot chick” chicken 🍗 - Chicken popcorns 🍖 - Sweet potato fries 🍟 - Kiwi Yogurt 🥝 Swipe ⬅️ to see them yourself 🌟 The 'hot chick' fried chicken was perfectly balanced with spices and crunchiness (loved the kick of Anaheim Pepper 🔥), the popcorn chicken was soft, tender and flavour was new to me (which is a good thing), the sweet potato had a lovely crunch and Kiwi Yogurt was less sweetened and was quite healthy. I am into fitness, fitness whole burger in my mouth 😁 -------------------------------------------------- Fried chicken sammies are my weakness and, when it is hot, spicy and crunchy, it simply levels up the game. Recently, I got a chance to visit the new outlet of @superchickennnnn at North York to try their 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐰𝐢𝐜𝐡 🍔 and 𝙊𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙍𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙚 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙘𝙠𝙚𝙣 𝙎𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙬𝙞𝙘𝙝 🥪 and, I still can't stop drooling about it. The bun used is soft, fluffy and stuffed with a spicy and flavourful fried chicken breast. The chicken is halal, crispy, tender and, it was seriously larger than the bun. Their menu also includes spicy chicken wings, popcorn chicken and, I am curious to try them next. We are halfway through 2021 and, the resolution remains the same: Having a balanced diet with a burger in each hand 😜 -------------------------------------------------------------------- Finally, Bibzz meets @thebullger 💥 *Swipe right to see the messiest burgers i've ever had 😍* If you have been following my feed, you will see that I've been on a hunt to try some crazy food across Toronto. This time my food trailing brought me to Danforth Ave. and, every street here is jam-packed with a food coma. The Bullger sits right in the middle of this street and is ready to serve the best quality burgers for the best quality taste straight out the grill. So what all signature burgers did I try? 🍔 The Bullger - The mightiest bull of all time. Packed with solid two patty burger with crusted portabello mushroom, beef bacon, jalapenos, grilled cheese buns and sauced to perfection. (You will probably need an extra mouth to finish this beast) 🍔 Red Bull Burger - This bull might look a little smaller than the Bullger in size but, it is loaded with three beef patties, beef bacon, sauteed mushroom, cheddar cheese and their Bullger sauce in between two grilled cheese buns. I also had a chance to try their onion rings 🧅 and, they were crunchy, crispy and go well with their delicious sauce! The talk of the town Baos is finally here and, I am super thrilled to introduce it to you'll WuBaEats. @wubaeats is a perfect example of food and culture coming together with the best of both worlds. Every Bao you devour is etched to a story that will make you fall in love with them again. So what all did I get? 🍗 Bawan (Ba-Wan) - Coming from the streets of Taiwan, this gelatinous disk-shaped translucent dough is made of sweet potato starch filled with a sweet and savoury sauce and consists of Chicken and shiitake mushrooms. Last week I had a chance to visit Ramon's kitchen at Bayview Ave, Thornhill and, the only thing on my mind was to lift these amazing Burgers and get them right down to my belly. So did their Burgers satisfied my cravings? HAZEL AMOUR that you'll love to devour 😍 Yesterday, I had a chance to visit the @beavertails, Toronto waterfront outlet and, I have to tell you that I was awestruck to see the plethora of fried-dough pastries, sips, poutines and ice-creams they serve. What you get is a chocolate/ poutine affair in a flat donut that is crispy and flavourful. These pastries are individually hand-stretched to resemble beaver's tails, topped with either sweet or savoury ingredients. So happy to know that they're one of the oldest Canadian 🍁 brands that have been delighting everyone since 1978 🍫. In the frame 𝐇𝐀𝐙𝐄𝐋 𝐀𝐌𝐎𝐔𝐑 🤎: A chocolate hazelnut spread with a dusting of icing sugar that will take you on a trip to heaven. I also tried the 𝑷𝑶𝑼𝑻𝑨𝑰𝑳 💛: Their signature poutine with gravy served on top of a BeaverTails pastry. PS: You get a double visual treat when you are at the waterfront location. Ahoy mateys! Let's explore @thecubanthing 🌴 After looking at some of the delicious pictures from my friends @mississaugaeats, @hungry.jo, @jeannieats_ and, @hankmoony, I was tempted to step out towards Mississauga's Celebration Square to explore this Cuban delicacy. I got a chance to meet the man behind the Cuban thing, chef @chuchi_rivero. He's such a humble and gem of a person and, as we spoke, I could seriously see his passion for bringing the authentic Miami Cuban heritage to us. So what did I try? 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗼 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲! 🍧 🍨 I might be a little late to the UBE party, but glad that I finally got a chance to try these beautiful ice cream cones from @ihalokrunch. iHalo Krunch opened its new location at 2114 Bloor St W and, it looks like they're about to make this summer even crazier with their UBER flavours. It was my first time trying UBE and, I think I am in love with it now. When it comes to picking icecreams, I love picking unique flavours and, these have hit the right spot. So what did I get to try? 🌈 𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐛𝐨𝐰 𝐈𝐜𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦: This showstopper ice cream had Ube, Charcoal coconut, Strawberry milk, Vanilla bean and Pandan (even the cone was charcoal flavoured). Your summer is all sorted with this one. 🍦 𝙐𝙗𝙚𝙣𝙪𝙩: When two epic flavours combine and make a signature 🍧. UBE (the sweet purple yam), twisted with black on black (a subtle coconut mixed with activated charcoal). Perfect for the one who loves who is about to try something new other than the regular flavours. I also tried their new bubble tea with ice cream. Yes, you've read it right. I tried 2 of the gamechanger BBT and, I am in awe. The two flavours were 🍨 𝑷𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒏 𝑩𝒐𝒃𝒂 and 🍶 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐚 (I couldn't take a picture because it was irresistible 😝).
