Darren Criss raised eyebrows in May when he shared a behind-the-scenes shot of him naked on set of The Assassination of Gianni Versace with a red speedo in hand. Months later, the multi-talent has opened up about the racy photo that sent social media into a frenzy.

During his interview with The Ladygang podcast, Criss admitted that the whole point of the shoot was to take back the power from the paparazzi, who had caught him in the speedo beforehand. “I was wearing this ridiculous red speedo thing and thank god it was for the show because pictures had come out, the paparazzi had caught us,” Darren explained. “We’re shooting a scene on the beach and it’s Miami. It’s fair game, we’re out in the open so there are photos of me in a scene with Max Greenfield and I’m in this red speedo and I look kind of ridiculous. We’re all kind of giggling about this on set, like, ‘Oh my god, this is getting picked up.’ And I kind of wanted to take it back for myself.”

Still, Criss revealed that the bigger point of the photo was to showcase just how sunburned he was and how much his complexion matched his speedo. “At the end of that day, I was completely sunburned and was essentially the same color as the speedo and so I’m looking at myself in the mirror thinking this is too funny. So after those photos went out, I was like, ‘I have a better photo.’ So that was that,” he added.

i really want a 1x1 where character a is a fireman and his life is pretty fuckin’ good because all he really does is work and then go home and relax, hit up bars and hooks up. then one night he meets character b who’s a complete romantic at a bar and character a lies so that they can take character b home. turns out character b lives really near the fire station and what was meant to be a one night stand turned into a regular hook up whenever character a has time between being shifts (i’m talking character a would go to character b’s place at like odd times during the day and at night and climb through the window or go in through the back or some sorta way) and leave immediately after bc duty calls so character b never had the chance to properly sit character a down and tell them they wanna stop bc they’re interested in a relationship. but eventually character b finds an opportunity and character a realizes he can’t lie out of this one so things end between the two of them but then character a realizes he can’t stop thinking about character b all day all the time and decides to go find them as soon as they have time off but they never seem to be able to find the right moment with the right words in mind.

plOT TWIST CHARACTER A IS ON CALL AND THERE’S A CALL ABOUT A FIRE NEAR THE STATION AND THE FIRETRUCK DRIVES ALL THE WAY TO A FAMILIAR LOOKING HOUSE SET ALIGHT AND IT TURNS OUT THAT IT'S CHARACTER B’S HOUSE AND CHARACTER A ABANDONS THEIR USUAL RESPONSIBILITY WHICH IS TO MAN THE HOSE OUTSIDE AND REQUESTS TO GO IN TO SAVE THE PEOPLE INSTEAD

Since I’m a mod in Hollywood roleplay, I’ve been making fake youtube videos & instagram posts for the promos (example), and seeing as I get requests for the youtube templates, I decided to share it along with the mini instagram one. They’re very simple to edit and I added lots of options for you to edit. In the youtube one you can change everything, even the comment user pic color!!! I added two examples to show you how it’ll look when you post it. Fonts used are Arial, Arial Nova & Segoe UI. You can do whatever you want with it, just please don’t repost. ALICATWRITES THEME #10: 24K MAGIC.

ALMOST THERE!! ONE DAY TO GOOO. anyway, this one is very similar to 9. i was playing with styles the other day and figured to post these instead of some of my older themes. it has.. one sidebar, six total links (4 customizeable), titlebar with a main title & subtitle, and 400px posts. i don’t suggest it for mains due to the post size, but go nuts. any questions? just let me know!
