This is the first rewritten chapter of Hindsight - the fic I wrote about five years ago and then forgot about. Now that I’m back into Zombies, Run! I thought now was the perfect time to revisit this little story of mine. So enjoy!

- Didn't think she'd be accepted as a runner because she's slow and easily distracted. This led to 5k training and being sent on ALL the supply runs so she could get distracted by supplies

My Runner 5

- Is legally blind, refuses to let people make adaptations for her because she’s convinced she can manage just fine

- Hangs out in the radio shack with Jack and Eugene because she did student radio at uni

- Enjoys beta reading Rajit’s novel

- Once killed a zombie by doing a roller derby knee-tap on its head

- Sings showtunes all the bloody time. Needs to be stopped.

- Lives on Milky Ways and Wispas.

- Picked up video games on a supply run because she was sick of the only game at Abel being Fifa. She can’t play Fifa. To her, Fifa is a just a big green blob.

- Once rigged the speakers in the training grounds to play Wonder Woman’s Wrath when Runner 8 entered for a training session

Given i haven't run in about five years, not too bad. That, and this heat - good lord!

Either way, Five is hoping Rajit's handwriting is legible and big enough, or else Sam won't have gotten out of reading it, like he thought. She does want to read it! But Sam reading it to her would just... make it more accessible. Yep. Definitely not revenge for making her start Runner training on a day when it's 30°C.
