The massacre

CW for mild blood

A random realization set in, but ep7 put a rather interesting spin on C's backstory. A lot of it is kept the same, but now it has a whole lot more blood in it. XD

I also wanted to test out drawing C's mouth. I didn't do justice to how wide he can open it on the reference sheets. The absolute solver is capable of healing him, so he often over extends his jaw in favor of a bigger bite.

Locked out

While chatting, @bloodywolfwings shared an amazing headcanon with me. That once N is tossed out of the cathedral, the doors slam shut, and he's stuck outside, calling out to her. So we both drew that headcanon! ^_^ A similar image shouldn't be too far from this post, go show some love to it too! (Especially since it was @bloodywolfwings's idea! :3)

So my very first drawing was this

And I've kept it as my main thumbnail thingy on top of my blog. I was going to update it... but I can't bring myself to do that. TwT I put a halo on V as a way to show her MIA status. I can't put the halo on Uzi, too. So, instead, I'm completely changing it.

And now they're just happily running around ^_^ No need for the eldrich horrors and sacrifices. Just the silly goobers enjoying a trot through the forest.

I love these thoughts, so I just wanted to add one last theory and stash it into my hoard for safe keeping until ep8 ^_^ (and to see how wrong I am when ep8 airs lol)

Spoilers duh

Nori's drawing shows that she was able to glimpse into the solver's hive mind and see its plans. One of which is "It sent something(s) to eliminate the other hosts." So the entire purpose of DDs was to eliminate all of the potential hosts on Copper-9, and the solver knew it was at least two: Nori and Yeva. And Tessa entity confirmed that before imploding the computer. Once it knew, it only had 2 targets left: Uzi and Doll.

I'm not sure yet if Yeva is dead, nor if the solver knew that Nori escaped as a core. Either way, it had the answers it was seeking.

So when Uzi, Nori, and N are all fighting, the solver figured: yes, let's torment them further and also get my initial goal done. Kill the rest of the hosts. Nori is one of them.

Except Uzi snapped back to herself... buuuut still did the solver a favor by punting Nori into the hole.

The only ones that for sure remained now are Doll and Uzi. Doll is simple to get rid of, I mean, she's already dead... not quite. As another running theory of mine is that the solver ate the core to: yes replenish its powers probably, but also to get rid of Doll for certain. Doll might have lived on like Nori did, but Tessa entity ate it.

Sealing Doll's fate and effectively not letting her regenerate or to split off and live as a core. After that, it was only Uzi left. But wait, why the hell didn't Tessa entity simply eat the core back when she jumpscared Doll in the tunnels? For giggles, I think.

The Absolute Solver is known for playing with emotions and its prey. Similar to how it chatted with N (regarding keeping the personalities of his team), to scaring Doll minutes before killing her, to allowing Doll's body waddle back to Uzi to warn her. It just simply likes to play around.

Something I Haven’t Seen Anyone Else Comment On

Spoilers Under The Cut

Having rewatched Mass Destruction yet again, these two moments really stood out to me:

Twice during the episode’s climax, the Absolute Solver attempted, and in the latter case succeeded, in consuming an AS infected/corrupted through one of its host bodies. While I initially brushed off the attempt at devouring Nori as an act of sadism, the fact that “Skyn” ate Doll’s core does raise a few questions that point away from it just being an act of spite. After all, if the Solver was just going to have Uzi eat Core!Nori as a means to torment them and N, why would it have Skyn eat Doll’s core?

On the one hand, Skyn may have been in a weakened state (what with N having previously decapitating her) and needed Doll’s core as a means to regain strength and aid in healing.

On the other hand, if we take into account all of the religious horror elements strewn throughout the episode and the fact carving out & eating hearts is a documented form of ritualistic sacrifice in real life, I can’t help but feel that the Solver might have actually needed whatever host it was controlling at the time to devour an AS core. More than likely as an integral part of the process it utilizes to devour planets.

I could just be grasping at straws, but given all of the curve balls Liam throws at us, none of us will know if those two scenes have any true significance to them until episode 8 is released. Until then, here is at least something to think on.

It was most likely earth, but the mansion was just the beginning.

Spoilers duh

The main reason is the re-use of a certain character rig.

Both have hats. Now, what is Mr. Humphterfruffle (I know that's not his name, but it's so funny to me) doing in a city and not the mansion?

Because the surroundings suggest this is a city, the mansion was in an area with a "swamp" and enough space to dump drone bodies. Two possibilities:

1. Just a re-use of a rig for animation purposes. No need to complicate it further.

2. He made it out of the gala massacre but was later hunted down and killed like the rest of the humans.

The other evidence that can be used to say the scene is on Earth is the helicopter.

Yes, there are other exo-planets that the Absolute Solver sicced the DDs on.

But did it actually destroy them all is uncertain. (I saw this post regarding the computers and tend to agree that something is fishy, so whatever is on the computer may not be true.) Basing it off of the helicopter and what little I know about physics of other exo-planets, it's hard to say whether this is earth or not. Because Copper-9 seems to have similar enough gravity for humans to walk around normally just with toxic air.

But then if this image is an exo-planet

Why are the people drawn as their "redacted" images? All of Copper-9 humans were animated in space suits. So it leaves most likely to be Earth, or an exo-planet with an atmosphere that was able to sustain human life without the need of suits.

Now, as for the mansion black hole and the black hole in ep7 there's two routes that I see.

1. It's different black holes, the one in the mansion was called forth because the Absolute Solver had enough hosts in its possession to destroy the place. Then later took a break, gathered more forces and created a bigger black hole.

2. It's the same one. Acting almost like a solar eclipse and simply growing in size as the Absolute Solver gained more power. Making its presence known and corrupting Earth slowly but surely.

Think these two are the same thing?

If so it means that the Ep7 scene takes place on Earth.

Although I don't know how the timeline would work for this to be true.
