I had a major neck pain for a bit and was inspired to make something out of it. Skekung counterpart is Urlm (the healer). While he is the opposite of healer, he does have his inner doctor that he represses (I’m glad I’m not the only one who headcannon this). He’s much more qualify to be a doctor than Skektek. He’s could even be a certified chiropractor, but he’s very very rough with his medic practices. So everyone is fine with him being the Garthim Master. 

I did 30 mins on neck pain research.

Two generations of the noble family skekCel and skekSo are part of. First, ZhahuZharkuh and ThulunZharkov, the parents. Though they were not divided, this is what they’d look like as skeksis. From a long noble family with only a couple of branches between them, Zhahu and Thulun are not good people. Corrupt and inbred, they were the worst kind of idle nobility. Second, the young skekSuo and his littermate skekRame. Children of my fave polyship of ZokSoVar. Depicted here as around 13 in human age, still with babyfluff and far cuter than scary. Though not nobility in the eyes of their grandparents, these two are still the spoiled brats of the leadership. Thus, nobility all the same.

#bro these designs are fantastic! Zha and Thul unironically give me the chills #like. not so much in skekso's 'bow before the god king' or 'all-powerful looming threat' way. but you can definitely see why he is... that #they're less fantasy villains and more just genuinely fucked up people made by a bigger and even more fucked up cycle #and i think that matches tdc's themes really well! #also i adore that their grandkids kinda break that cycle and it's obvious in their designs #but at the same time they very well could fall into the new cycle skekso and the court in general have set up to replace that 'structure' #they're not just like their parents like skekso kind of is but they're still very vulnerable and how that pkays out could be just as scary #ocs
