Summary:

Frank asks kirsty to check on Julia. Julia tells kirsty to to go ahead and fuck her husband and leave her alone. Kirsty determines that julia is cheating. Frank eyes kirsty from the window and hopes she returns so they can bang. Frank and Julia talk after she’s taken another life for him. They have a moment where he insists they’ll be together after this and julia feels pleasure of ownership having played a part in recreating Frank.

I love how julia just straight up tells kirsty to bang her husband.

Summary:

Julia brings a guy home and kills him for Frank to absorb and slowly become whole.

I like that Julia is killing for Frank tho lol. Idk, the unhinged things we do for “lust.” 😭

Much easier and faster paced chapter to consume, and I like the description of the body being absorbed. Also “babe-naked” instead of buck/butt naked.

03-20-2024 - hellbound heart Chapter 5 spoilers

So hard to read right now (so hard to do anything really idk why) but i finally finished chapter 5 of HBH.

Summary…? Honestly I couldn’t recall the full chapter, but the end-ish tells us how Frank learned of and discovered the box. How he regrets the torture and it doesn’t actually bring him pleasure. Except maybe the moments they’re not torturing him? Which had me thinking that’s what they mean by “pleasure.” As In the sense of relief one must feel to be away from extreme torture.

Idk if it’s told to us how exactly he’s able to get out of the cenobite world but it has to do with Rory and Julia? He was able to get into the walls and Julia has allowed him a moment of hope. So yeah. There we are.

Onto chapter 6!

Curious if the hellbound heart is an analysis of relationships 🤔 or maybe just an unhappiness with the basic aspects of life//a desire for more? (Probably an obvious perception, but that’s fine).

- Frank abandons rl for new experiences, sensations and knowledge.

- Julia is unhappy in her marriage, mainly because Rory, her husband, is only with her primarily for her looks.

She’s interested in Frank, possibly because Rory hates him, but he’s this spontaneous adventuress man. Even tho he R*pes her, but her aged memories look back at the exp fondly.

- Kirsty…. Wants Rory?
