The Life of Glass
The Life of Glass - Jillian Cantor
This book was a coming to age story about a girl named Melissa. This book allows us to grow up in a very realistic way. It is an enjoyable read. 7.5/10
Major theme: You will have sorrow but your life lasts a million years (like glass) and therefore you will also have love and happiness. i.e Everything will be okay eventually.
Protagonist Melissa - Suffers from the lost of her father and her best friend: she is just trying to figure everything out
Other Characters:
Ryan: Melissa's best friend who falls for beautiful Courtney
Courtney: A beautiful girl who sweeps in and steals Melissa's best friend from her. She makes Melissa see everything she is not when it comes to beauty

Best line: " And in the in between... Maybe they had lunch and laughed about old times. Or maybe they didn't"
