📍Bhubaneswar, Odisha, 2019 Ananta Vasudeva temple of Bhubaneswar is famous for the Abhada(the prasad meal) . In the ranking of Abhadas, Ananta basudev temple hold it just below the Jagannath Mahaprashad. A 13th century temple, almost aging same as the Puri Temple differs from Puri in the style of worship, while the Puri temple holds the incomplete wooden idols of the Lord Jagannath Ananta Vasudev holds the complete idols made of black granite stones. But talking about the prasad, it holds the same flavour and demand in Bhubaneswar that of the Jagannath Temple of Puri. 📍 Jhamu Jatra, Odisha , 2016 One of the most popular festival of goddess celebrated across odisha on the Maha Vishuba Sankranti to mark day 1 Odia New Year. Jhamu Jatra carries so much importance and curiosity for the devotees walk in the burning coals on a channel to please the goddess and fullfilment of wishes. Itvis believed that the devotion of goddess helps the worshippers protect their feet from getting severely burnt.
