Exploring Boston on Two Wheels: My Cycling Experience with Breeze Rider EBike
Boston is a city filled with history, culture, and exciting sights to see. As a first-time visitor, I wanted to explore the city in a unique way and get some exercise in the process. So, I decided to buy an e-bike from Breeze Rider Ebike and take a cycling tour around Boston. In this post, I'll share some of the highlights of my trip and provide tips for anyone interested in exploring Boston on an e-bike.
Preparing for the Trip:
Before my trip, I did some research on the best routes to take and the most popular sights to see in Boston. I found that the city has a lot to offer for cyclists, including bike-friendly paths and scenic routes. I decided to buy a fashionable fat tire e-bike from Breeze Rider Ebike because I heard great things about their bikes and wanted to have an enjoyable ride without getting too tired.
Tumblr media
To prepare for the trip, I packed a few essentials such as water, sunscreen, and a map. I also made sure to wear comfortable clothing and a helmet for safety.
The Cycling Route:
I started my trip in Cambridge and headed towards the Charles River Esplanade, a popular destination for cyclists and joggers alike. This scenic route took me along the river and offered stunning views of the Boston skyline. The Esplanade stretches for three miles along the Charles River. So there were plenty of opportunities to stop and take in the scenery.
From there, I crossed over the Longfellow Bridge, a historic landmark that spans the Charles River and offers sweeping views of the city. I continued on to the historic Beacon Hill neighborhood, with its charming brick houses and narrow streets. This area is one of the most picturesque in the city. And it was a joy to ride through the streets and take in the sights.
I then made my way to the Boston Common, the oldest public park in the United States. This 50-acre park offers a peaceful respite from the hustle and bustle of the city. And it was a pleasure to ride through the winding paths and tree-lined paths. From there, I continued on to the Back Bay neighborhood. It is known for its wide, tree-lined boulevards and Victorian brownstones.
Highlights of the Trip:
One of the most memorable moments from my cycling trip was the view from the top of the Bunker Hill Monument. This 221-foot-tall obelisk offers panoramic views of Boston and the surrounding area. Although it was a bit of a climb to get to the top, the view was well worth it.
Besides, it was also exciting to visit Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox. I'm a huge baseball fan, so it was a treat to see the historic ballpark up close and take in the sights and sounds of the game.

The Breeze Rider Ebike made my trip a lot more enjoyable and allowed me to explore more of the city without getting too tired. The fashionable fat tire electric bike had a comfortable seat and handlebars, making for a smooth ride. Conclusion:
Exploring Boston on a Breeze Rider Ebike was an incredible experience. From the scenic riverfront to the historic neighborhoods, there's so much to see and do in this vibrant city. 5 Factors to Consider When Choosing an E-bike Motor
Electric bikes have gained immense popularity over the past few years. With more people looking for eco-friendly alternatives to traditional transportation, e-bikes have become popular. The motor is one of the most critical components when choosing an electric bike. The motor determines how fast and powerful your e-bike will be and can significantly affect your riding experience. Here are some factors to consider when choosing an electric bike motor.
Type of Motor
There are two main types of electric bike motors: hub motors and mid-drive motors.
Hub Motors: Hub motors are located in either the front or rear wheel of the bike and provide direct power to the wheel. They are typically less expensive and easier to maintain but can make the bike feel heavier and less balanced.
Mid-Drive Motors: Mid-drive motors are located in the bike's frame and provide power to the chain, which drives the rear wheel. They offer better balance and handling and can climb hills more easily. However, they are typically more expensive and require more maintenance.
Tumblr media
Power Output
The power output of an electric bike motor is measured in watts. The higher the wattage, the more powerful the motor and the faster the bike can go. Most e-bikes have engines ranging from 250-750 watts.
For casual riders, a lower-wattage motor may be sufficient. However, a higher-wattage motor may be necessary if you use your e-bike for commuting or off-road adventures. Remember that higher-wattage motors may consume more battery power and reduce the bike's range.
Torque
Torque is the force that the motor produces to turn the wheels. The higher the torque, the faster the bike can accelerate and climb hills. Torque is measured in Newton meters (Nm).
If you plan on using your e-bike for hilly terrain or off-road riding, look for a motor with higher torque. We also recommend a mid-drive motor for better climbing ability. A higher torque motor can also improve your overall riding experience by reducing the effort required to pedal and making it easier to maintain a consistent speed.
Efficiency
Efficiency refers to how much power is used to propel the bike versus how much is lost as heat. A more efficient motor will use less battery power and provide a more extended range.
Look for a motor with high-efficiency ratings, typically around 80-90%. This will help you get the most out of your battery and reduce the need for frequent recharging.
Pedal Assist System
Most electric bikes come with a pedal assist system that provides power to the motor when you pedal. The pedal assist system can affect the overall riding experience and should be considered when choosing a motor.
There are two main types of pedal assist systems: cadence sensors and torque sensors. Cadence sensors measure how fast you pedal and provide power based on speed. Torque sensors measure how hard you are pedaling and provide power based on your effort.
If you want a more natural riding experience, choose a motor with a torque sensor. This will provide power based on your pedaling effort and make the bike feel more like a traditional bicycle. If you want more control over the power output, choose a motor with a cadence sensor.
Conclusion
Choosing a suitable electric bike motor is essential to getting the most out of your e-bike. Consider factors such as the type of motor, power output, torque, efficiency, and pedal-assist system when deciding. Consider your riding style, terrain, and budget to find the motor that will provide the best riding experience for you. With a suitable motor, you can enjoy the benefits.

E-bikes have been gaining popularity around the world as more and more people discover the benefits of this alternative form of transportation. But for some, e-bikes are more than just a way to get around - they're a life-changing experience. To learn more about the transformative power of e-bikes, we spoke with Jane, a passionate e-bike rider. She has been using her e-bike from Breeze Rider Ebike for over a quarter now.
Q: Can you tell us a bit about how you first got into Breeze Rider Ebike?
Jane: Sure! I've always enjoyed cycling. But as I got older, I found it harder and harder to keep up with my friends on longer rides. I also started to worry about hills and steep inclines, which would often leave me exhausted and out of breath. So I started looking into e-bikes, and my friends all recommend the fat tire electric bike for me. After trying it out, I was hooked.
Tumblr media
Q: What are some of the benefits you've experienced from using your e-bike?
Jane: There are so many! For starters, I can now keep up with my friends on longer rides without feeling tired or out of breath. Another benefit of e-bikes is that they offer a more sustainable and eco-friendly mode of transportation. E-bikes are powered by rechargeable batteries and produce zero emissions, making them a great option for those looking to reduce their carbon footprint. Jane notes that she loves the feeling of being able to travel without contributing to air pollution or traffic congestion.

Maintenance tips for e-bikes
E-bikes are a great way to get around town, but like any other vehicle, they require regular maintenance to keep them running smoothly. Proper maintenance not only ensures optimal performance but also extends the lifespan of your e-bike. Here are 14 e-bikes maintenance tips:
Tumblr media
Keep it clean
Regularly cleaning your e-bike is essential to prevent dirt, grime, and debris from building up on the components. Use a soft brush or cloth to scrub the frame, wheels, and other parts gently. Avoid using high-pressure water as it can damage the electrical components.
Check the tires
Check the tire pressure regularly and ensure it is within the recommended range. Also, inspect the tires for signs of wear, cuts, or punctures, and replace them if necessary.
Inspect the brakes
Test the brakes regularly to ensure they are working correctly. If you notice any issues, such as squeaking or reduced stopping power, have them checked by a professional.
Lubricate the chain
Electric bike chains tend to require more frequent lubrication than non-assisted bicycle chains. Lubricating the chain regularly helps prevent rust and corrosion. Apply a small amount of lubricant to the chain and wipe off any excess. It’s a good idea to do this after every ride, and certainly after washing and drying the bike.
Check the battery
Regularly check the battery charge level and make sure it is fully charged before each ride. Also, inspect the battery for signs of damage or corrosion, and have it replaced if necessary.
Inspect the cables and wires
Check the cables and wires for signs of damage or wear, and have them replaced if necessary.
Store the bike properly
When not in use, store the bike in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight. This can help prevent rust and other types of damage.
Keep the motor clean
Regularly clean the motor and other electrical components to prevent dirt and debris from building up. Electric bike motors and batteries are sealed units and, therefore, shouldn’t let in any water, but you should avoid washing any bicycle – electric or not – with a powerful jet wash because the power of the water could force its way through the bike’s numerous seals. Therefore, you need to use a soft brush or cloth to gently wipe down the motor and other components.
Check the suspension
If your e-bike has a suspension system, make sure it is properly adjusted and functioning. Then, test the suspension by bouncing on the bike and make any necessary adjustments.
Tighten loose bolts
Check all bolts and screws regularly and tighten them as needed. Regularly safety check your bike to ensure that all bolts and axles are tightened to the manufacturer’s recommended torque settings and test for any loose spokes.
Check the lights
Test the lights on your e-bike regularly to ensure they are working properly. Replace any burnt-out bulbs or damaged components.
Inspect the frame
Inspect the frame for any signs of damage or cracks. If you notice any issues, have the frame repaired or replaced as necessary.
Check the gears
Test the gears on your e-bike regularly to ensure they are shifting smoothly. If you notice any issues, have the gears adjusted or repaired as needed.
Maintenance frequency
If you’re an occasional rider (say, you’re riding once a week or on weekend), regular maintenance (tune-up) once a season would probably be fine. If you’re a frequent rider who commutes to work or uses your e-bike regularly on weekends and rides about 100-150 miles a week, consider a basic tune once every 3 to 4 months, or every 1,000 miles or so. Basic at-home bike maintenance like keeping your bike cleaned and lubricated can also extend the time.
By following these maintenance tips, you can help keep your e-bike in good condition and extend its lifespan. Remember also to have your e-bike serviced regularly by a professional to ensure all components work properly. With proper maintenance, your e-bike will provide you with many years of enjoyable rides.

How to ride an electric bike safely
Nowadays, people pay more and more attention to health and environmental protection. Therefore, many people choose to ride electric vehicles to work, which can also save time and effort. However, with more e-bikes on roads and trails than ever before, it's clear that many people need to learn how to use them safely. This has led to some well-documented tragic accidents involving e-bikes and heated debates about how, where, and when to use them. There are some e-bike safety tips if you are worried about safety danger when riding an electric bike.
Know your e-bike class and ride in the correct lane.
As of 2019, 22 states use a three-class system for defining e-bikes. These three classes depend on the propulsion method and the maximum speed. There are three classifications: Class 1: An ebike is class one when it has a top speed of 20 miles per hour.  Class 2: An e-bike will fall into Class 2 is equipped with a throttle-actuated motor. That motor must cease to assist when the eBike reaches 20 miles per hour. Class 3: A Class 3 e-bike is a bicycle with a motor that assists only if the rider is pedaling and should cease to help when the eBike reaches 28 miles per hour.   Class 1 and 2 bikes are the most common e-bikes for recreational riders who enjoy mountain biking, hunting, or exploring outdoors. People ride class 3 e-bikes to replace a moped or motorcycle. And they are best suited to urban road use.  The speed limit for e-bikes is 20 miles per hour or less under motor power alone. So, riders should always ride e-bikes in the bike lane, which can ensure your safety.
Be careful about the traffic.
Every cyclist should pay attention to traffic flow, but it's even more critical on an e-bike. Drivers may expect a cyclist to reach less than 20 mph on the road. And the disconnect can lead to potentially dangerous scenarios. Part of the issue with traffic is that drivers need to learn how to look out for bikes zipping by with an extra e-bike behind them. So, we recommend outfitting your bike with lights and a bell to ensure you're seen. And it's not only drivers—you might be too fast for pedestrians or other cyclists who won't hear you coming without a polite warning. Breeze Rider Ebike has Solar Electric Bike Head Light, which is perfect for your outdoor activities such as camping, running, cycling, etc.  The solar ebike light has a long battery life of 3-5 hours and comes with a 1200mAh battery. You can also charge the light via USB or solar.
Tumblr media
Wear helmet before riding an e-bike
Although not the most fashionable, a helmet will protect riders from severe brain, head, or face injuries—possibly even death. Moreover, an electric bike is generally faster than a regular cycle, so there is a higher accident rate. So, it becomes more important to wear a helmet. And it can also help riders become more visible to drivers, reducing the accident rate to some extent. Besides, wearing a helmet is a government requirement. Within the U.S.A, 25 states and Washington D.C. have helmet requirements for e-bike riders and passengers.
Stand Out From the Crowd
Most e-bikes are used in urban environments where cyclists compete with other road users and external distractions, all of which are vying for a driver’s attention. Give yourself the best chance to be spotted early by wearing colors that clash with your environment. Choose high-viz colors during the day, and remember to include reflective elements in your kit if you are likely to be riding after dark, as these will glow brightly in car headlights and help to alert drivers to your presence.

Guide on shifting E-bike gears
As for electric bikes, some beginners don't know how to use their gear shift system. And beginners should familiarize themselves with the gears on their bicycles to understand how to use them. This is an important skill to practice, as you can only change gears while pedaling. After this, the focus should shift to how to use bicycle gears when appropriate.
What are bike gears?
Gear is a great invention that allows us to ride faster, get up hills more accessible, and have more fun riding. Gears translate the force you apply on the pedals into the specific output on the wheels. There is a limit to how much power your muscles can produce, and there is usually the most efficient optimal rhythm (how fast you rotate the pedals).
Changing your gear to stay within that range widely, depending on the terrain and conditions, allows you to advance more efficiently.
How to use bike gear shifter?
Anticipate the terrain
If you're riding uphill or windward, you'll feel an increase in effort. This is because the ‘low speed’ gear on the bike is the smallest sprocket at the front and the largest sprocket on the rear gear. In this position, pedaling is most accessible, and you can pedal uphill with minimal resistance. Therefore, switching to a lower gear makes sense to solve the problem.
Also, remember to shift gears before climbing, not when you slow down quickly and put maximum pressure on the pedals. If you shift gears on hills, shift gears one at a time and temporarily reduce the strain on the pedals while shifting gears. If you hear a lot of friction, it could be a sign that you're putting too much pressure on the pedals while shifting gears – excessive friction can wear out your drivetrain faster. On flat or downhill sections, multiple gears can be changed at once.
Slow down and engage a lower gear to accelerate out of turn more easily when you're on a sharp turn. Similarly, if you need to stop at certain traffic lights, switch to easier gear to make riding easier when the light is green.
A big no-no is that when you use an external drivetrain, you shouldn't shift gears when stationary. Instead, always ensure you pedal to perform a smooth shift, gradually shifting gears throughout the range to find the right gear.
Use an easier gear
When in doubt, use the simpler gear. Changing into a gear that is difficult to pedal may seem faster, but it can quickly drain your strength and can cause damage to your knees. Pedaling at a higher pace in an easier gear is more efficient than pedaling slower in a harder gear.
Throughout the ride, maintain the maximum pedaling speed that makes you feel comfortable. Then, after a few rides, you can sense it's suitable for your pace. You can also scientifically understand things by purchasing a bike computer to monitor the speed while riding precisely.
Which Gear on a Bike is Easiest?
The simplest gear on a bike usually depends on the type of bike you are riding. However, a hybrid bike with 7 gears will have its ‘simplest’ gear on top of the flywheel located at the rear.
If the gearshift mechanism of your gear shows numbers, the same ‘easiest’ gear on the flywheel will be called gear ‘1’. The gear is perfect for climbing and low-speed riding.
Electric bikes with a 7-speed gear shift system
The fat tire electric bike has Shimano 7-speed drivetrain, which provides accurate and smooth gear shifting capability. As a result, it moves easily during the ride to tackle those hills.
Tumblr media
Besides, it has a multi-function LCD. It supports you in controlling the ride easily. You can adjust the assist level from 0 to 7 to lower or raise the speed assist easily. Speed, battery output voltage and capacity status, accumulated mileage, and other information are shown on display. It is clear at a glance.

Disc brake vs. rim brakes, which one is better?
There are four types of bike brakes: rim, disc, coaster or drum brakes. On a majority of bicycles today, though, you’ll find either rim brakes or disc brakes.
Disc brakes and rim brakes get their name from where the braking force is applied. Disc brakes are what we see on many cars, motorcycles, and trucks. And they use the braking force to a disc mounted on the wheel hub. However, rim brakes apply braking pressure directly to the wheel's rim.
Factors to consider when choosing brakes
Stopping Power
Brakes have one primary purpose: to slow the rider down, which is affected by weather conditions, user weight, braking duration, and usage. And heat is another significant factor in braking because the hotter the brakes are, the less effective they will be. It is a phenomenon, which is ‘brake fade’. However, it is a problem, especially on long descents where the rider will be using the brakes for extended periods. As a result, heat dissipation has been at the forefront of brake innovation in recent years.
Heat dissipation is the strength of disc brakes. Disc brakes take braking force and heat away from the rim and redistribute it to a less problematic location, the rotor. From brake pads with specific cooling fins to disc rotors with large cutouts to increase surface area, disc brakes can integrate many designs to reduce heat, improve performance and reduce the risk of rotor burnout. However, there are rim heating issues for rim brakes, which weakens the braking effect.
Therefore, disc brake is a better choice for better stopping power.
Wet Weather Performance
Discs have a higher clamping force. In detail, because the rotor is small, the caliper has to squeeze the rotors harder than the rim brakes. As a result, the water will be scraped off the rotor when riding in the rain. So, disc rotors are less susceptible to external contamination from rain and water and clear dirt faster. Of course, the best rim brakes also have enough power to provide outstanding wet-weather performance, but when it comes to disc brakes, even the relatively inexpensive models will work well in the rain.
Maintenance
Disc brakes are notoriously difficult to repair. Bleeding hydraulic disc brakes isn't difficult like other discs. But it requires more of a home mechanic than a simple rim brake cable adjustment. With a workbench and the right amount of tools, disc brke home repair can be manageable. It is possible, but it would be a challenge. However, there is little play between the spacer and the rotor, so even the slightest wobble in the disc can create a lot of noise if the rider doesn't adjust it correctly.
Rim brakes, however, are a home mechanic's best friend. Are the pads worn out? No worries - loosen the grub screws, pop them out, put new ones in, and you're done.
Therefore, Rim brakes are simpler and less expensive to maintain because disc brakes require routine maintenance on a more rigorous schedule.
Component Lifespan & Cost
Component life is a factor that affects overall cost and sustainability. As the name suggests, rim brakes contact the braking surface of the wheel. Over time, this braking surface wears out and eventually needs to be replaced. Wheels can be rebuilt with new rims or wholly replaced. However, the disc brake pads are in contact with the disc rotor, which can replace the entire rim simply instead of the wheel when the disc rotor wears out. For this reason, disc brake wheels will generally last longer than rim brake wheels when combined with quality hubs, and while not necessarily cheaper, they can reduce waste and give you more bang for your buck.
Comparison Conclusion
Considering the better stopping power, better performance on rainy days, and longer component lifespan, disc brakes are an excellent choice, but their maintenance process is complicated.

Indoor Cycling Vs. Outdoor Cycling, which one is better?
Nowadays, people pay more and more attention to environmental protection and physical health, so many choose to ride bikes or ebikes instead of commuting by car. At the same time, many people choose to ride a bike to exercise in the gym. It's worth mentioning that cycling, whether you ride outside or indoors, is a great cardiovascular activity. Plus, cycling builds muscle and promotes weight loss and maintenance.
And which one is more suitable for us? To help people decide, we compared outdoor cycling with indoor cycling regarding exercise, fitness, socializing, and weather.
Exercise
You can push yourself more with natural terrain when cycling outdoors. If you choose a route with hills, you'll have no choice but to increase the intensity. For this reason, outdoor cycling generally burns more calories than indoor stationary cycling, which can be proved by the article Calories Burned in 30 Minutes for People with Three Different Weights.
Health
Based on the article (What is the Best Dose of Nature and Green Exercise for Improving Mental Health?), outdoor exercise can boost mental health. Research has shown that five minutes outside can bring many benefits, including reducing tension, stress, depression, and anger. Being in nature can also improve mood and self-esteem. Besides, cycling near water earns bonus points and more significant benefits.
Indoor cycling can get old quickly, but you can change routes and explore new places outdoors. Also, it's hard to get bored while riding your bike outside, creating motivation.
Social
The social aspect of cycling is one of its greatest joys, from being a member of a cycling club to riding with friends on the weekends to relaxing at the cafe while enjoying a cappuccino and cinnamon bun. Cycling in a group is fun and motivating, especially if you go out for breakfast or a beer after the ride. It's one of the few sports that allows you to chat freely with friends while participating. If you wanted to, you could chase down every group member. It is humming along at 30km/h all the time (provided you can ride it safely, of course). It's fantastic and an aspect of the sport that the layman often overlooks.
Indoor cycling, on the other hand, is done individually, usually in a cold and unused room in the house. So, yes, you can virtually interact with others on a training platform like Zwift, but it's not the same.
Weather
Confining your rides to your home is one of the advantages of indoor cycling when the weather is terrible. If the weather is bad, such as high wind, rain, scorching sun, etc., it is usually more suitable to ride indoors than outdoors. So, you'll avoid things like sunburns and windburns. After every ride, no frostbitten fingers, five layers of clothing, or rinsing the bike.
But let's face it, what's better than riding on a warm day? Warm air in your face, a short-sleeve sweatshirt, and ride until 10 pm after getting off work. When it's good, it's glorious. And, after all, that's what bikes are designed for, right?
Overall, when conditions permit, outdoor cycling will be more beneficial. For fitness purposes, soothing the mood, or sharing a pleasant time with friends, outdoor cycling can be your first choice.
To provide riders with a better outdoor riding experience, Breeze Rider Ebike provides everyone with electric bicycles suitable for different occasions. For example, if you want to go on a long-distance cycling trip, you can choose a Long-Range Electric Bike. If you're going to adventure in the mountains or the jungle, you can select a Fat-Tire Electric Bike, a Fashionable Fat-Tire Electric Bike, or All Terrain Electric Mountain Bike. A fashionable electric bike is also a good choice if you want to experience a modern city trip.
In addition, if you want to enjoy the scenery, you can choose the electric mode or pedal-assist mode, and if you also want to exercise, you can select the classic bike mode.

Cycling can combat heart disease!
Today is National Wear Red Day, the first Friday of February when many people wear red to show their support for the awareness of heart disease. The goal is to warn women of their top1 heart threat. About 697,000 people die of heart disease in the United States every year–that's 1 in every 5 deaths. So, we need to attach importance to the heart disease. And how can we reduce the risk of heart disease? Some research found that people who cycle or ride electric bikes regularly are significantly less likely to suffer from heart disease.
Tumblr media
Research results
Many scientific studies have found that cycling can reduce the risk of cancer and heart disease. In 2017, researchers at the University of Glasgow completed a five-year study involving more than 250,000 people. The study topic is cycling to work may cut your risk of premature death by 40%. Participants' typical commuting patterns and health during the five years were monitored. Results were adjusted to take into account factors including sex, age, diet, and existing illnesses. The study found that people who cycle to work are 46% less likely to suffer from heart disease. In addition, if these people had a heart attack, they also had a 52% lower risk of dying. In May 2020, a new study published in The Lancet took another look at the link between active travel patterns, cardiovascular disease, and overall mortality. The study topic is Associations between commute mode and cardiovascular disease, cancer, and all-cause mortality, and cancer incidence, using linked Census data over 25 years in England and Wales: a cohort study. The researchers looked at 25 years of census data to see if different commutes affect people's health. Likewise, people who cycled to work were less likely to die from heart disease (24% less). They also had a 20% lower overall mortality rate.
Why cycling can reduce the risk of heart disease.
The most important takeaway should be that riding your bike regularly helps stimulate your heart and lungs, improves your circulation, and decreases your chances of cardiovascular diseases. This is because your resting pulse goes down, your blood fat levels lower, and your heart muscles become much stronger. The stronger your heart, the more effectively it pumps blood through your body, which lowers your heart rate and reduces the risk of high blood pressure. As a result, you’ll reduce the pressure on your heart and, in turn, your risk of heart disease. Besides, regular cycling can also help you to lower your levels of bad cholesterol, reduce stress and maintain a healthy weight, all of which are good for your heart.
How to get start? - Choose an E-bike for commuting.
For most people, commuting is something we do almost every day. That means that turning your commute into a workout is one of the easiest ways to ensure you're getting regular exercise. By cycling just 15 minutes each weekday, you can meet the NHS's recommendation of 150 moderate minutes of activity per week. And many people find that cycling to work helps wake them up, setting them up for a more enjoyable and productive day. And how can we choose a bike for commuting? Sometimes you rush to work; you would be concerned that you will be late if you ride a bike. In that case, you can ride an e-bike to help you speed up.
Tumblr media
Here is one recommendation for Long Range Electric Bike. Firstly, it has three riding modes, pure electric mode, pedal-assist mode, and classic bike mode. So if you want to exercise, you can choose the classic bike mode or pedal-assist mode. And if you're in a rush and want to save time, you can select the pure electric mode. Secondly, it is light-weight, about 23.24kg, so it would not be so tiring for you when you choose the classic bike mode. Thirdly, the endurance is 70-80 miles, so you don't need to charge it frequently. Fourthly, the smart LCD helps record your exercise. It is in front of you and near the handlebars. It shows your speed, total mileage, battery capacity, etc., presenting your exercise achievement. In conclusion, Long Range E-bike is a good choice for you to exercise as a commuting transportation tool.

Electric Bikes vs. Electric Scooters, which one is better?
Nowadays, many people ride modern electric bikes or electric scooters to commute or have a trip, especially commuting in a city. They are much cheaper than cars and helpful in commuting to avoid traffic. Besides, they are eco-friendly. Among all modes of transportation, they are one of the cleanest and greenest. So, it is an excellent way to ride e-bikes or electric scooters to reduce your carbon footprint. But how can we make a selection from them? Here are some pros and cons of electric bikes and scooters.
Electric Bike - Pros
Choose a mode you prefer to save energy or do exercise
Most electric bikes have three modes, Pure electric mode, pedal-assist mode, and classic bike mode If you want to exercise, you can choose the classic bike mode, and if you're going to save time or energy, you can select electric mode or pedal-assist mode. Aside from that, you won't worry about an empty battery since you can normally ride even if the battery is empty.
Tumblr media
No worry about long distance
An e-bike can generally go between 22 to 50 miles with pedaling on one charge. Some long-range electric bikes can go between 70 to 80 miles per charge. So, if you want a long cycling trip, e-bike is a good choice.
Tumblr media
Easy to maintain
The electric bike is just an ordinary bike with an added battery and motor, so it is easy and would take little time to maintain or repair.
Tumblr media
Electric Bike - Cons
More expensive
It can cost between $1,000 and $4,000 for a basic commuter e-bike and $10,000 to $12,000 for a customized high-end e-bike. So, the pricing is higher than regular bikes and electric scooters.
Long charge times
It usually takes between3.5 and 6 hours to fully charge an electric bike battery. If you need to ride somewhere, this is a long time to wait. You can still ride with a partial charge, but your range will be reduced. A 10 amp charger can charge some electric bikes to 80% in just 1-2 hours.
Electric Scooter – Pros
Easy to use and portable
Driving a mobility scooter is no more complicated than riding a bicycle. Thus, the vast majority of people will be able to learn how to use an electric scooter relatively quickly. And it is relatively light and portable, which brings great convenience to riding it to hang out.
Tumblr media
Save your energy
If you are tired of riding a bike and burning energy, electric scooters are a good alternative. Since they don’t need much physical effort, E-Scooter is an excellent way for people who are too lazy to go by bicycle or by other means of transport that require physical work. Electric scooters are also a suitable alternative if you have any health problems and cannot do exhausting physical activities.
Tumblr media
Perfect for short distance
Electric scooters are beneficial for short distances. For example, you can ride them to work for a few miles or use these scooters to visit your family and friends nearby. It is quick, and no need to worry about parking.
Tumblr media
Electric Scooter – Cons
Unsafety
Many people, especially young people, may underestimate the speed and dangers of using e-scooters. And there is no driver’s license required. Therefore, electric scooters may cause serious traffic accidents.
Only suitable for short distances and flat road
Since the range of electric scooters is somewhat limited, so it will not be enough to drive for long road trips. And it's tiring to stand all the time. So, it may prevent many people from buying those scooters. Besides, the tires are relatively small and not fat enough, but riding an electric scooter can be difficult if the road is rough.
Cannot bring heavy belongings and may not be suitable for obese people
Electric scooters often have weight restrictionsas well. That means the e-scooters could break down if people are heavy. In addition, carry-on items that are too heavy or too large cannot be carried, not only because of the load-bearing limit of the electric scooter but also because there is not enough space to place items.
In conclusion, electric bikes are more proper for you if you need to ride long distances, such as having a long trip or going somewhere far away. And if you are concerned about the rough road, e-bikes are also a good choice because of the fat tires. But if you only need to ride short distances, a lightweight and portable electric scooter would be more suitable.
