|| With the lack of knowledge and info we had for fontaine, I just took some reference to the 1950s france , bourgeoisie, phantohm thief and bioshock reference considering that the creators had made fontaine as reference to it, So here’s my HCs for it and for my boi and his city.

1. Apparently, fontaine has high regard with fame, status , parties and nobility - the more parties upheld, the more one can raise a rank of fame . The more well suited the person are the more the person is rich and vain they are towards themselves. This hierarchy was set up for a long time, thus there’s a huge gap between the poor people and the rich people.

Poor people lives further and away from the said noble families and they were usually treated horribly and abusively. It’s better to be a servant than to be a part of lower class families who didn’t get much food to eat and or house to live in.

2. Despite the glorification given by the outside countries towards Fontaine’s beauty, the crime rate in the place was quite high, thiefs and pickpockets are quite famous crimes in the city. But due to the focus of the archon and other socialites with parties and events they quite had turned blind eye on what is exactly going on with the country.

3. With Hyrdo archon being the God of justice, which justice usually just being delivered towards those who are capable to pay for and rich enough to get noticed by the archon herself. Lyney and Lynette had taken upon them to help those people in need by doing crimes themselves.

Stealing the riches of the arrogant rich folks and sharing it to the poor. Usually they held parties to look and see who will be their victim that night, and once they managed to get what they need, they will exit the said place with such a grandiose exit ; considering that they want to challenge the archon herself upon her judgement.

Contradicting whatever she believes in. For they want to show her that is it a bad ‘crime’ if they are stealing from those corrupt and giving the money to those in need. And what punishment would they even receive from her if they are to be spotted.

4. Despite the Extravagant exits they made as their alter ego, and their life as well known noble, lyney makes sure that they will not be suspected nor recognize by their victims, they would usually held grand parties that will be a common commotion towards everyone thus the gossip of being robbed will be forgotten.

For this stupid rich folks loves parties and events more than some petty rumours .

Stuffy modernized machineries crackled loud sounds as they passed by at the crowded city of fountaine, making his small nose crinkle at the smog coming from the chimneys that excrete whatever chemicals made with - hand slowly rotating the lever to close the windows of the carriage preventing the pollution from coming in and damage his pour pairs of lungs ; as well stopping the noisy chatters of modern world to their own little secluded area.

“ Fontaine city is such a beauty ; I have no remorse towards it but sometimes, modernization ruins it, Such a shame , if in the next upcoming years the past will be replaced with the future, non? --- this enticed me, how mondstadt remains the same ; despite the previous control of aristocracy . “ He mentioned, eyes still focused outside the observed the blur that passed by; people walking doing their business and fellow carriages that is rushing through the pathway despite the small traffic due to the crowd passing by.

“ How one ; can control and manage a place without rules set to follow is beyond our understanding. Barbatos has a weird way of leading - no wonder you remained so small compared to the other countries. Stayed the old same mondstadt from the past years.. with no progress and such ; if only the Lawrence Clan remained in power maybe mondstadt would raise more and become a good trading partner for Fontaine ” Lyney’s voice lingered; filled with arrogance and amusement towards the situation of mondstadt before gsaping dramatically and covering his mouth as if he didn’t mean it.

“ Oh mon dieu ~ what am i sayin , my apologies for such words of scrutiny, monsieur alberich~ It’s just Mondstadt is such a quite hit of conversation in our newspaper today. “

With vigorous amount of convincing ( although it looked like more of bickering than what is stated ) , the land lord of the mansion had finally accompanied his guest to the halls of which barely opened, the library --- and despite it not being used for a long time already ; the spacious place filled with numerous books and almanacs ; and scrolls that was collected by his family for generation was still clean and pristine ; no mites nor dust in sight.

His boots echoed through the ivory walls as he approached stood next to the sumerian, arms placed in his hips, while the other stared at his gloved hands ; boredom written on his face but slowly gazing up to look at the stunned man ; eyes in awe as if he had never seen a library once in his entire life ; mouth agape from excitement like a child given his favorite sweets. What a sight indeed, unfortunately he has to step in and make him grasp his reality, he wouldn’t want for cyno now to just look at it all day when he can use it freely. .
