I rewrote c!Dream's wiki page last year, since it essentially had no sources for most text and it was also lacking a lot of information. But some may remember that back in 2021, that page was actually in a way worse state than when I started editing it (it was still in a bad state before I rewrote it, to be clear). I looked through the page's edit history a few times and always found some of the most biased and infuriating misinformation and dehumanization. There was just so much wrong that it would actually be funny, if this wasn't on a wiki page at some point that new viewers were using to get information on c!Dream.

For anyone who's curious, I've included screenshots below the cut of some of the misinformation that used to be on c!Dream's page.

I get the feeling that the post-jailbreak Logsted confrontation is probably c!Dream's most sincere portrayal of the "cackling evil villain" that everyone believes him to be. Contrasted with, say, the disk finale, it strikes me as weirdly genuine. And I think it comes from a place of desperation—to regain that sense of control that he lost during the prison arc. Even now, once he's escaped, the whole server is still hunting him down, and it's terrifying. So he sees c!Tommy, and it's the perfect person to run into, because c!Tommy is weak and alone and already afraid of him. It's a weird little power trip, a lapse in his better, more rational judgement—just look at the way he mirrors c!Quackity's words back at c!Tommy. This is his first opportunity in a long, long time to hold any kind of power at all, and in that moment, that's not something he's mentally capable of passing up.

i think whether c!wilbur was a liar or just delusional during most of l'manberg definitely can be up for interpretation but you know i think people have this idea that just because c!wilbur (seemingly) believed something they now have to rewrite objective reality to fit his alleged beliefs like y'all understand that a character saying something does not make it true right like c!wilbur was either a liar or delusional, and it's fine if you think he genuinely believed the incorrect stuff was true, but giving an accurate representation of reality he was not

"c!Ranboo and c!Dream never even talked" wrong the two actually had a small conversation when Pandora's Vault was being built and the fact that witnessing the beginnings of construction of a massive inescapable prison for ambiguously nefarious purposes is one of c!Ranboo's main impressions of c!Dream is a little funny I think.

c!Quackity referring to his regular prison trips as a "commute" really hammers in how completely destroying a human being became a routine to him with time. c!Dream's torture wasn't even something exceptional. Just another part of the day. Go to the prison, sign the documents, follow Sam, do the deed, leave. Repeat.
