Has anyone had a hyperfixation for a show they hadn't even watched at the time of the hyperfixation or is it just me? Like I had an obsession of watching edits and clips on tiktok to the point that I knew everything about the show before I even watched it.
I saw Midsommar in cinemas when it first came out (and have watched it since at home) but at the time I had no idea who Archie was so wasn't really paying attention to him other than feeling bad for Simon. since seeing Gran Turismo and becoming a huge fan of his, I've been hoping that a cinema here would play Midsommar so that I could fully appreciate Archie's performance on the big screen.
I literally emailed two theatres and said "hey would you consider playing Midsommar in June for the solstice" and ONE OF THEM IS DOING IT THEY'RE SHOWING THE DIRECTOR'S CUT I AM SO EXCITED RIGHT NOW!!!! I JUST GOT MY TICKET!!
oh my gosh I am going to behave normally in public about this I swear. I promise. but internally, sitting in the cinema, I will be losing my mind.
