I Want Your Feedback
Given that this blog is mostly about me giving my opinion on fashion, I would like to know what my followers/viewers think. Admittingly, these are outfits I would wear, but I do think they fit very different aesthetics.
The way the textures complement each other is satisfying to the eye. I see this outfit being worn in a city setting, perhaps to sightsee, eat out with friends, or shop.
A very romantic outfit with soft colors and silk. I see this being worn on a European getaway, through a garden, or to enjoy tea time outdoors.
An early 2000s-inspired cyber girl fit. Incorporating the micro denim skirt, Vivienne Westwood jewelry, and mini sunnies give a youthful and unique vibe.

THRIFT!
My personal experience with thrifting has never been the best. I avoid fast fashion as much as possible, but thrifting in a city as big as Maimi with Depop resellers lurking on every corner is incredibly difficult. Due to this unfortunate situation, I have resulted to thrifting online. However, I refuse to contribute to the epidemic that is Depop resellers who upcharge a Harley Davidson t-shirt they found at Goodwill by 90%. So after extensive research and trial and error, I have curated a little list of online consignment stores that I like.

A Trend I'm a Fan of
Most of the time, when I see a new fashion trend appear on TikTok, the internet collectively decides to name it something bizarre, such as "Grunge Fairy Core" or "Dark Academia Core." Well, this is one of those rare moments where a specific style has not been named yet. While browsing, I saw plenty of debates in Pinterest comment sections on what to call this aesthetic of clothing. For me, it simply looks like modernized shifted vintage pieces.
I absolutely adore the incorporation of vintage into a modern composition. The micro skirts pictured (not to be confused with mini skirts) were first introduced in the 2000s but are made of weathered and/or vintage textiles. Lace leg warmers, repurposed silk night slips, and thrifted vintage designer are all things I love to see incorporated into an outfit. It is something truly original.

"Cherry Coke" Hair
I am not too sure if the "Cherry Coke" or "Chocolate Cherry" hair trend is trending on anyone else's TikTok, but it definitely has made an impact on mine. I am not too into following trends simply because, most of the time, I do not find that it aligns with my personal style, but this is a different case.
This hair color has been something on my mind since late May last year. Something about the muted dark, almost black/brown red, is so elegant to me. It is a fun color while still remaining within the lines of professionalism. Anyone that is starting an internship soon with a strict dress code (me) can definitely get away with this shade. It's 100% on my bucket list of things to try out.

Navy on Black
In any context, outfits that incorporate navy and black are bold. Rarely does it look good, but when it does, I show the curator of the outfit some respect. It is something I have never personally pulled off, but I'm pretty sure it boils down to the textures/shades worn.
Above is a navy and black example that actually did not give me a headache to look at. Her choice of a tightly fitted U-neck top in that particular shade of navy really complimented the loose-fitted black pants. Her use of black accesories, such as the platform DocMarteens and cross-body purse, allows for consistency and permits the navy top to be at the forefront of the fit.
