There's a pretty bad domestic abuse situation going on in the apartment directly next to mine and I feel like I'm such a coward bc I can't do more to help this girl but literally I'm sooooo scared of her boyfriend lmfao big TW under the cut

I've literally called 911 on them twice since I moved in November 2021 bc despite not believing in the cops or the carceral system both times I was like. She definitely needs a fucking paramedic and I'm worried he's about to kill her.

The first time he almost rocked my shit bc I witnessed him dragging her undressed down the hallway into the elevator as I was getting out of the elevator and the second time was just a month or two ago bc he was slamming her against the adjacent wall so hard my cabinet doors were rattling as she screamed for help for 10 straight minutes

And like at least once a week I can hear them screaming at each other and she's started trying to get him out in the hallway before they fight I'm guessing so there's more witnesses/he can't hurt her as badly

TODAY: students at cal poly humboldt are occupying a building, having barricaded themselves inside with furniture. im having a hard time finding information on this occupation, unsure if this is an encampment or not. many more encampments have popped up and im trying my best to put my feelers out everywhere!
