since we can’t decide on what their first song should be, it reflects metanarratively. no one is deciding things for them anymore, they’re free, they get to write their own stories. in the end, their first dance isn’t set to just one song, they keep dancing all throughout the night, to 70’s classic rock and contemporary pop and everything in between. every song is their song because they’re all about love and it’s all about love, they see themselves reflected in them all. everything is Dean and Cas and their love story tonight, and they keep dancing.
