#i overplanned. so the last 48 hours have been me sitting here left alone with my thoughts #and im excited and want this obviously!!! but actually having time to process “big life altering operation” #on top of already being TERRIFIED of hospital settings #isnt helping my nerves. im also not allowed to take my anxiety meds for obvious reasons so i cant make my brain manually calm down #this is a lot for tags. anyways. tits off tuesday amirite #ventish #nacht yips

As someone who is trans, I know how annoying it is to hear "don't overbind you'll hurt your ribs!1!1" but PLEASE be careful.

I bind with a tank binder a size too large regularly, and still the past several months I've been dealing with horrible back/side/hip pain, and after two relocations of my 5th, 7th, and 8th ribs, have now been diagnosed with slipping rib syndrome. Weeks before top surgery. I know not binding is hell on its own, but please take care of your body.

Literally half of the reason I'm so discouraged to post on this blog because on the one meme I made, which was supposed to be funny and silly and relatable within the community, had several notes and got several dms about... the fact that I used the word "therianISM" instead of "therianTHROPY"

You know how that made me feel as someone fairly new to community? It did not make me feel welcome. It did not make me feel enlightened, or wisened by those who have been here longer than me. It made me see that I was trying to relate to a group that was constantly infighting. Who are so focused on policing each other and arguing semantics for chest-puffing rights- "My way of experiencing and labeling the world is more valid than yours!", that they don't actually take the time to relate to another to create a sense of community.

I really miss the old nonhuman community.

so for the past few months tumblr on mobile has been doing this cool little thing called "glitching so badly that my screen shakes rapidly and almost gives me a seizure" as soon as I open the app, which kinda sucks because I've been wanting to post more.
