Green eyes peer over curiously, casting a shadow as Adrien leans forward; momentarily distracted from what he was going to say as he admires the linework on the page. “Is that a new design you’re working on?” He speaks quiet as to not startle her, on the chance his presence had previously gone unnoticed. “It looks really good, even if it’s not done yet.”

bright blue eyes widened slightly as she heard a voice that distracted her a little from ‘ the zone ’ ( as what alya had called it whenever she stuck out her tongue in pure concentration ) while she was working on her current sketch . a small blush appeared on her features , realizing that her crush just complimented her . ❛  oh , well it’s not exactly my best . . . i’m glad you like it though ! hopefully , i won’t bring shame to the cat when i finish this design . . . err , see ? it’s not that noticeable when it isn’t colored although it’s actually based on chat noir . ❜

Madoka Magica AU

Because let’s take the depressing magical girl anime’s plot and mix it in with Miraculous Ladybug’s fluff, shall we? I’d rather not include rebellion in this AU, mainly because I can’t imagine Chat Noir absorbing all of Ladybug’s powers, screwing up the universe, and appointing himself as a demon. Then again, I never thought Homura would turn out to be that type either. I mainly got the idea for this AU during the timebreaker episode. Ladybug going back in time and saving Chat Noir reminded me of how Homura always tried to go back in time to save Madoka.  Main Plot: In the city of Paris, an everyday girl named Marinette Dupain-Cheng and her best friend, Alya Cesaire, encounter a small kwami named Tikki. She offers a contract in which a person may have any miracle granted in exchange for obtaining miracle powers and being tasked with fighting against witches. Meanwhile, a new student and miraculous user named Adrien Agreste tries to stop Marinette from making the contract with Tikki at all costs. As Marinette witnisses more witch battles, she learns of the responsibilities, dangers, and sacrifices that come with being a miracle user. Witches: Witches are created when humans with negative emotions become akumatized by akumas, which are black butterflies that are left behind when a witch is defeated. Kwamis: Kwamis are basically like the incubators in Madoka Magica. They look for people with magical potential to become miraculous users. Their only goal is to preserve the universe from entropy. Miraculous: When a contract is made between a person and their kwami, the person’ soul is extracted and combined with the miraculous. With the miraculous, miraculous users can transform. But once a contract is made, the miraculous user should never be separated from it’s miraculous or else they would collapse dead on the ground. A miraculous user must use akumas to cleanse their miraculous, so they don’t become akumatized themselves. When miraculous isn’t cleaned, it becomes tainted and an akuma combines with the miraculous, creating an extremely dangerous level of a witch.  Akumatized Hawk Moth: Basically has the similiar role as Walpurgisnacht. As Hawk Moth, he became akumatized and became known as the most powerful witch in the current timeline. Originally, it was only him but he had many other witches join his side, which made him more powerful. How Adrien became a miracle user: When Marinette first met him, she swooned but did find him to be a bit strangely reserved and distant. He wasn’t always like that though. In the first timeline, he went to school for the first time after being homeschooled for so many years. Despite everyone wanting to talk to him because of his reputation as a teen model, he only had a few people who he could call as friends. One day, he gets saved from being killed by a witch by none other than Ladybug!  Unfortunately on Walpurgisnacht, Ladybug is killed, as well as many of Adrien’s other friends who Ladybug wasn’t able to save, nor could Volpina or the other miracle users. Adrien is distraught over all the deaths. A Kwami named Plagg shows up by Adrien’s side and offers him the chance to revive Marinette. Adrien decides to take it and wishes to go back in time as a miraculous user and fight by Ladybug’s side as her partner. Plagg extracts Adrien’s soul and combines it with a ring. He can now transform into Chat Noir, and Adrien travels a month back in time. Despite travelling back in time too, Plagg’s memories become erased each time. In the second timeline, Ladybug and Chat Noir meet and become partners quickly. When Chat Noir brings up the topic of identities, Ladybug quickly cuts in, saying that she doesn’t want to reveal to each other their identities. Chat Noir decides to respect Ladybug’s wishes and the lucky duo fights against witches, saving Paris all the time. On Walpurgisnacht, the duo defeats Hawk Moth but Ladybug’s miraculous becomes too corrupt during the process, that she becomes akumatized, transforms into a witch, and ends up killing all the other miraculous users in the process. Adrien goes back in time, realizing he failed to protect his partner and his friends. In the third timeline, Adrien decides to warn the other miracle users about the kwamis deceiving them. Volpina doesn’t buy it and neither does Master Fu. But after discovering that it’s true, Volpina has a mental breakdown and smashes everyones’ miraculous, which killed them, but avoided them in becoming akumatized. Before she could destroy Chat Noir’s Miraculous, Ladybug quickly used her lucky charm to destroy Volpina’s flute. On  Walpurgisnacht , Ladybug and Chat Noir defeat Hawk Moth, but both of their miraculous are corrupted. Ladybug uses an akuma she had in her yo-yo on Chat Noir’s miraculous, cleansing it and reveals her identity as Marinette to Adrien. Marinette asks him if Adrien could travel back in time to avoid her being tricked by Tikki. Adrien promises to save Marinette and all their friends they couldn’t save in the third timeline, before destroying her miraculous to avoid her becoming akumatized which kills her in the process before going back in time. In the timelines after this, Adrien finds a way to avoid getting Marinette contracted with Tikki in the beginning but somehow Tikki would be able to convince her. Marinette’s potential power as Ladybug also grows as each timeline passes. Adrien starts to miss the old timelines where he could patrol with Ladybug, flirting and joking with her as they fought witches, and where he could spend more time with Nino, and Alya.  Time-travelling Side Effect: When Tikki discovers in the current timeline that Adrien had been travelling back in time, she reveals that it’s actually his fault for Marinette having so much potential in her powers as Ladybug. Chat Noir shouldn’t have had time travelling spells since it didn’t seem to fit his overall powers of bad luck, but his time travelling spell was unlucky in Marinette’s case. Every time, Chat Noir went back in time, his bad luck contributed to Marinette’s horrible destiny and fate in becoming the wickedest witch.
