The Scars of my Life
At the age of 11, I was sexualized and fetishized by someone who I was told to trust. Instead of being taught the difference between a birdie and a bogey, I was subjected to harassment and groping.
At the age of 18, I was pregnant and stressed. I was scared of a movie and couldn’t turn off a light. Instead of giving me a hug or showing some care, I was dragged out of the door by my hair and thrown down the stairs.
At the age of 23, I was raped...
At the age of 26, I thought that I had found the love of my life. I moved across an ocean because I thought he was the one. Instead of holding me when I cried, he strangled my neck.

Today we are rising up. We are forming a revolution. We have had enough of people fighting against us, making life harder and darker. We are rising up. Black, Brown, White, and Yellow. We are done. We are fed up. We will take back whats’s ours and we will win. They can’t stop us.  #NotMeUS @berniesanders
