I’m still a Jane’s A Car stan btw. I’m a big fan of Christine and I think it was a cool and fun take on the idea!! They even shook it up with the cool sexy themes of grief and reconnection and the idea of grasping for something long gone, of something bitter and familiar coming back just as you were getting ready to move on from it!!! Like where else would we get an exploration of trying to hold onto a relationship through the image of a man trying desperately to reconnect with his ex wife by simulating sex with the car she is haunting. The metaphors are insane.
