a twist on the fake relationship au where muse a is a celebrity and they’re pretending to date muse b for publicity but muse a has an actual girl/boyfriend behind the scenes !! so muse a is probably totally against it just because they don’t wanna hurt the person they’re actually dating, but of course they come off as a total jerk to muse b who has no idea why muse a's girl/boyfriend stays with them until they get to know each other better and turns out muse a is actually really nice and caring and clearly loves their girl/boyfriend so much and of course muse b ends up developing feelings for muse a but has to watch them be hopelessly in love with their significant other. little do they know the relationship is falling apart behind the scenes and muse a is falling apart because of it !! so muse b does everything they can to make muse a happy while questioning whether everything they do is just for the cameras or if any of it is real.

{muse a} is a confident guy who could basically get anything and anyone he wanted. he is the co-owner of a successful law firm so therefore is practically bathing in money. {muse b} is a independent, hard-working guy who won’t let anybody stand in the way of getting what he wants. he is very opinionated, sarcastic, as well as perpetually pissed off and {muse a} loves it. as soon as he sees {muse b} he is hooked. he basically spends the majority of his time trying to win this guy over with no such luck until {muse b} gives him a proposition: “fake date me so my ex-boyfriend will piss off and parents will get off my back then i’ll consider dating you for real.”

While being in a perpetually happy state of being, Andrew started laughing, his face scrunching up as he leaned back a bit. "Shut up!" though he said it out of the kindness of his heart. "It's not karaoke night, but get the mic 'cause he's singin'!" the boy might've had a bit too much to drink already, but that didn't stop him from rapping Nicki Minaj lyrics. It also didn't stop him from pressuring the other to actually go and do karaoke. "I think the boys got a machine in the commons!" Daniel said excitedly, clearly in the mood to sing something (which he never, ever did so this was a shock.) "Let's go, c'mon," he was tugging their arm, eyes glazed over, as he tried to get them to stand up. University was fun for him.

and he probably should be a little more subtle when he stares at people, but hell, he was happy. he was almost a college graduate, his friends adored him, his campus idolized him, and nothing could go wrong. so yeah, he was a bit cocky -- a bit too over the top when it came to showing he was interested. but that was daniel. he had started walking over to them, then, not having paid any attention to the things his friends were saying the past five minutes. something stopped him from coming to his destination, however, and that something was the person who had just crossed his path. instead of continuing to walk, they had dropped whatever was in their hands, so now they were bent over, picking it up. daniel looked from them quickly up to the person he was eyeing. (and of course, they were leaving.) with a groan, he looked down again, seeing that they had picked up their stuff. "are you good now??" and it came out a little snappier than he expected -- hell, he was a really nice guy -- but his chance to talk to them had slipped from his fingertips.
