Color blocking nails are actually very easy to do. The key is to brush the polish in one go. The contrast between lime green and midnight blue is classic yet playful. The ring was designed by Timbee Lo, a Hong Kong designer famous for his handmade Harajuku-styled jewelry. Yayy first photo post:)

Venturing into the world of Fashion Blogging
I'm Coco
Originally from Hong Kong, one of the most distinguished shopping paradises in the world, I have spent most of my teenage years in Beijing. Now, I'm a student at the University of Washington, Seattle.
For the sake of being in a new school, a new country and a new beginning, I've decided to start a fashion blog and share my love of fashion, DIY crafts, my original designs, anime, books and reviews on fashion shows and designers. Most of all, I wish to elevate myself to be closer to my dream profession, a fashion designer.
Fashion to many people is all about the clothes and the featured styles. What to wear to be spotted on the streets. What to wear at family gatherings to receive just the right amount of compliments and jealousy but not being intrusive nor too conservative. What to wear to that date with your new crush in Psych 101, fun and witty yet not overly suggestive. What to wear to be different and to be conventional.
Fashion is all of that. But to me, fashion is a form of self-expression through wearable art that creates a whole different entity.
Every time I review Alexander McQueen's shows ( SS 2013 being my favourite yet), they always remind me that fashion is not merely about that pretty dress but also the ethereal combination of fierceness and daintiness. Mary Katrantzou, the distinguished Greek fashion designer with her play of vibrant floral and architectural prints, has similarly reminded me that reality and wonderland are in fact not so far apart. And Timbee Lo, a Hong Kong designer focused on Harajuku styled handmade jewellery, has also stimulated my thoughts on what is radical style.
In this blog, I wish to connect fashion and art with the conceptual entity and self-expression (to fawn designers' ingenius shows ). I wish to present my research and critiques on latest fashion shows, designers and relative information on the industry (really, it's to motivate myself to start learning..) And of course, I will share my style, my designs sketches, DIY crafts, life, rants and much more.
So, come join me in my Realm of Fashion~
