She could sense the nervousness in him, the reaction slightly alien to her now, spending so much time on the ship with people who were loose and comfortable with her and knew her well. "You're Tavi, right?" Athena asked, also recalling his name.

"Heh… we did.  For a bit."  He nervously nodded back, still not used to who exactly was standing in front of him.  "I remember cause it ain’t everyday Commander Shepard talks about your birthday and stuff, heh."

Shepard turned around, unable to repress a smile that was creeping onto her lips. She usually didn't like photographs, but she was in a rather good mood. Shrugging, she walked towards the man that she hadn't met before - a usual occurrence. Everyone knew her, and she didn't know everyone. Still, the playfulness in his tone amused her, taking a mental note to get her crew to start calling her Commander Ma'am. "Sure. What do you want me to do?"

alright guys, i have some news. so, i have a new job. *crowd cheering in the distance* i got lucky, and got accepted for a new job. i've been working for a couple of days now - it's a smaller scale job, but honestly it's better than nothing. thankfully, i'll have enough to keep paying for my monthly rent with my new pay, but i had to cut off cable and landline in my apartment, since i couldn't pay for it anymore, so i only have internet *thankfully*. i'm not necessarily with the fullest wallet, but for now i'm okay and thriving - i have to cut corners and be more savvy, but i guess this is my kick into adulthood. and, it's going to take a lot more of my time than usual, but i will still try my best to be online because face it i love athena and you guys too much to be absent !

so... hello again! i missed you guys, even though i was only away for such a short time. i may have to drop some threads - i've lost a great deal of them, but if you're so inclined to continue one of them, link me, and i'll try my best to respond! otherwise, i would love to start new threads. i'll put up a starter very soon - everyone is free to jump on it. also, i know i still owe some prizes, so i will continually work on those and get them posted as soon as possible!

also, i know i'm overdue on a lot of things, threads and prizes being like, only 2/38934893489 of them, but please bear with me! i promise i'll post them the moment i get around to them.

ooc ; a rather important read regarding my SEMI HIATUS

[ i know so many of you have been expecting me to get my butt on replies, but I've kind of got a horrible situation on my hands. i just recently lost my job and am now currently hunting for another - so please keep in mind that while i am trying my best to get onto ic things, i am also job hunting. although i get money from my dad, who so graciously helps me with my funds, he doesn't pay for everything. i pay for my phone bill and internet bill, and groceries, clothes and other necessities. with my old job i could pay all of them with little aid from my dad, but now I'm jobless and, well, if i don't find a new one soon, i won't be able to have internet and all that. i don't want to bother my dad with milking more money from him, since he already pays my tuition fees and helps with other important finances, like my apartment rent bill and has his own finances to deal with too. so i think i will have to go on a semi hiatus ( I'll call on a full hiatus when needed ), and will check in from time to time for some replies and to talk on Skype when i can. emphasis on can because i can't promise usual activity, not until i get a new stable job. i hope you guys can understand. thanks for your patience and i'll see you all soon! much love. ]
