“I’m tired of being crushed under the weight of greedy men who believe in nothing. I have to change that.” @valor-rowe, (but seriously this is Cooper’s life)

Cooper cracked a smile at his cousin joke. Fucking smart ass, the former Army Ranger thought to himself as he got off his motorcycle and walked over to Jonny. “Some of us like to sleep.” And it was only seven in the morning; Cooper didn’t open his garage until eight. “It’s good to see you Jonny – been a few months, haven’t it?” It was the only comment that he was going to make dealing with his cousin’s lack of appearances. If Jonny wants to explain himself, Cooper knew that he would in his own time.

The morning sun warmed Jonny’s skin as he laid against his bike in front of Cooper’s garage. He hadn’t seen his cousin in too long and a surprise visit was long over due. Jonny finally looked more like his normal self after the rough few months he’d had and so it felt good to reach out to family, someone who he knew cared about him despite the problems he might have. When he finally caught sight of Cooper he smirked a little in his direction and removed his shades. “I thought mechanics got up and worked early. What took you so long?” He joked, clearly glad to see the man.

Ophelia nodded, looking at her own sandwich. Turkey on wheat. Boring. “Oh, just a plain turkey on wheat,. Pretty boring, but it tastes decent and its fast. That sounds really good though. Very…flavorful?”  Ophelia was not always the greatest at small talk. But her coworkers weren’t always the nicest to her and she really wanted a break from the police life for a moment. “Do you come here often?”
“Classic sandwich,” Cooper commented after she told him what she had bought from the food truck. “it is. Though I use to be more of the boring side when it came to flavors until a few years ago.” As he was asked if he came here often, the former Army Ranger took a small bite of his wrap and took a drink from his pop. “Once a week. Yourself?”

“My name? Oh, no, I don’t think so.” Faye was quick to shake her head, stopping in front of the male and placing both hands on her hips. “I don’t eat food from a truck, I would honestly rather eat my own vomit than something that comes out of the back of a truck. Besides, unless they serve filet mignon, they most certainly did not call my name.”
At first, Cooper wasn’t for sure how to reply back to the blonde. From what she had told he had apparently gotten it wrong – her name was in fact not called. “My mistake, ma’am.” Was what the former Army Ranger said with a slight nod of his head.

Cooper & Carolina // Overdue
@carolinagonzalez
Even though it was his day off, Cooper found himself passing the time by working on his motorcycle with a cigarette loosely hanging between his lips. Hands dirty from his tools and the oil, but the former Army Ranger somehow managed to keep his shirt clean. With quick movements, Cooper stood up and glance around the parking lot of his apartment building, half wondering if he should just call it a day and drink a beer. After all, it wasn’t like this was his only motorcycle. He had three at his repair shop.
Just as Cooper was about to kneel back down to put his tools away, footsteps caused the blond to stop and glanced over his shoulder. “Afternoon neighbor,” He said with his famous boyish smile.

Cooper had been up for at least an hour, just lying on his side unable to sleep. Running on a few of hours of sleep was normal for the former Army Ranger, but at times it was frustrating for him. Though it gave Cooper time to think – to plan for his and Sierra’s future. He knew that at one point he would have to make a choice about the mafia, but that was still years away, well hopefully it was.
Tumblr media
Feeling Sierra’s body tense caused the blonde to open his blue eyes, staring at their bedroom door, that was still shut from when he closed it hours ago. “Probably just the dog, but I’ll go check,” his voice low, as he slowly sat up and looked at Sierra with his boyish smile. He didn’t want to worry her, but even so, Cooper silently reached over to his nightstand and pulled out his gun. Sierra knew that drill; Cooper had gone over it enough when they first started to get serious.
Silently Cooper leaned over the bed and softly kissed Sierra’s forehead. “Might want to find something on Netflix since I’ll be up the rest of the night,” his smile small as he looked at his wife – his soulmate before leaving their bedroom.
@cooper-robertson
Sierra turned around in bed, her hand slowly trailing along Cooper’s form that laid beside her until she found a comfortable position. With a sigh, the blonde turned and stifled a yawn, only a hear a small crack within the home. Sierra paused, her body tensing as she strained to hear any other noise. When she felt like she had, she slowly attempted to wake Cooper awake. “Babe,” she breathed, her voice strained. “I think something— I think someone is in the house.”

“Huh? They did?” Pixel looked towards the food truck before suddenly smiling happily seeing his burger sitting there, as if he had just received a million dollars. “They did!” he exclaimed, getting up and nearly skipping over, taking his food and iced tea before coming back to the table, sitting down across from the other. “How’ve you been, Coop? I barely get to see you, it hurts me,” he frowned playfully as if offended, his lower lip curled into a slight pout.
Cooper just stared at the younger man in shock, forgetting how um. . . Joyful Pixel could be. The former Army Ranger was unsure if he should laugh, or just shake his head at the hacker. He decided to do neither, taking another drink of his pop instead. “Busy, like normal. You? “ Cooper asked him with a smirk, before adding, “You get to see Sierra, isn’t that enough?”

“Huh?” She mumbled distractedly with a pencil in her mouth as she glanced towards Copper and then to the food truck he was pointing. “-OH right shoot!” Cordelia quickly recovered and pulled the pencil out of her mouth into her purse with her notebook. After grabbing her food the Brit sat back down next to him. “Mmm, you were right, this is the best cheeseburger I’ve tasted. How did you find this food truck?”
“Glad to hear that you agree,” Cooper voiced as his blue eyes glanced around the area before landing on Cordelia. “My team and I found this place while we were taking an R&R in Vegas.” Vegas wasn’t the best place to rest and recuperation after months in Iran, but they were young. . . And stupid with money to blow.

Egan was on her phone, like always, and wasn’t paying attention to the truck in the slightest; she hadn’t even noticed Cooper, who’d been standing with her, until he spoke. “What? Oh,” she briskly walked forward to retrieve her food. “Thanks, I was totally zoned out.”
“No problem at all,” Cooper told her. “ I would feel like an ass if I let your food get cold.”

“Oh, exacte. I suppose it was a bit silly of me to wait in the car.” Margaux chuckled quietly and went ahead to pick up her lunch. On her way back, she thanked the stranger with a light smile. “How did you know it was me? My name, I mean?”
“Not at all ma’am,” Cooper had said before he took a drink of his soda. “They called your name a few minutes ago, and when no one went up to the truck, I figured it had to be you,” Cooper told her.

Kaya had been standing in the line when her phone vibrated. Unable to help herself from checking in on what she was meant to be doing for the day, she dug out her phone from her pocket to look at the message. It was then that the male pointed out that her name had been called, “Oh!” She started before quickly walking to the counter to retrieve her lunch, yet, when she walked up, the young woman had the strangest sense of familiarity. Turning back to the voice that hat informed her of her order being ready, Kaya gave thanks to the workers before walking over to him, “Cooper?” She wondered, knowing him from Ryder.
Tumblr media
Cooper glanced up from his spicy chicken wrap to look at the woman, a little smiling tugging at his lips as he put a name to her face. Kaya, Ryder’s ex. “Yes, ma’am.” The former Army Ranger told her as he stood up and took a few steps towards her. “ Kaya,” He greeted with a smile. “Are you on your lunch break?"

“Well - aren’t you so nice to inform people that their food might be getting cold.” Reina teased as she walked up beside Cooper, wiggling her fingers in greeting, playfully, once he looked up at her, “Lucky for you, I’ve already got mine and if it was my name - pretty sure you would have remembered it.”
Tumblr media
“Reina,” Cooper greeted with a small smirk on his face. “ Staying out of trouble, I hope.” Glancing around the area as the former Army Ranger took a drink of his pop, he added, “ – How was your birthday?”

“Oh,” Elliot awkwardly laughed; when he ordered his food, he instinctively gave them his stage name without realizing he wasn’t even in drag. The name the truck had called was ‘George’ and he wasn’t sure how to inform the stranger that that was definitely not his. “That’s not me. I–” A woman interrupted him and shouted, “Laney Morgan?” After running up to grab his food, he returned to the blonde and muttered, “That was me.”
Tumblr media
Cooper watched as the man grabbed his food from the lady and returned, muttering that was me. With a shrug of his shoulders, the former Army Ranger said, “My mistake. Sorry about that,” and dropped it. If he hadn't spent the last few years living in Vegas, this whole situation would have been very awkward for him, but it wasn’t.

“Nope, I never order anything.” Abel was well aware how weird that sounded, but he had a thing about food trucks. Especially ones that he never had before. “I people watch, passes the time like you wouldn’t believe.”
“People watch?” Cooper asked before he picked up his burger and took a bite of it. “Now I have to ask – What’s the wildest thing you’ve seen?”

“Oh–what?” Ophelia looked up from her phone to the man speaking. Ophelia was on “lunch break”, also known as time to grab food and hit the road. She was never truly done working, but that was ok. She liked her job for the most part. She walked up to get her food and turned to look at the man. “What did you get–because that looks delicious and I need a change.”
Tumblr media
Cooper glanced down at his wrap, trying to remember what he had ordered. He had become a regular; so much so that the cook went ahead and made Cooper’s lunch before the blond could even open his mouth. “It’s the spicy chicken wrap with lettuce, tomatoes, avocado and mayo. What did you get?”

Katrina had toned everything around her out thinking about the casino as always. She was in a complete phase when she heard Cooper speaking to her, without even responding to him she went up to collect her food “You know I still don’t understand your infatuation with this one food truck”
Tumblr media
Cooper shook his head with a small smirk as Katrina spoke to him. Of course, she wouldn’t understand, but that didn’t matter to the former Army Ranger. “It’s the best burger place in Vegas,” The blond joked. “ – When I was on my last rest and recuperation before my contract was up, my team and I went to Vegas and this food truck was the first stop we made right after we landed.”
