I'm in a rather artsy gpose phase right now; I've been watching a friend play through Alan Wake 2 and I myself have been replaying Control. Both games have phenomenal artistic style and direction, and I highly recommend them for anyone deeply interested in video game aesthetics and/or very cerebral storytelling and world-building.

My compositions are inspired by the the imbalance of dark and light, silhouettes, and single sources of stark illumination of unnatural coloring. There is a feeling of being ever alone in the dark, and the presence of light offers neither reassurance nor sanctuary--they only serve to highlight your aloneness.

It's too early to say if my gposes will share an overarching theme or storyline, but an Alan Wake-esque modern AU for Corbett is forming in my mind--a modern-era man trapped in a shadowy and surreal realm. Perhaps he is a writer, or a detective. Perhaps he is pursuing someone, or being pursued. Nonetheless, if more ideas take root, I shall try to shoehorn Hesperos into this AU somehow.

Finally, homemade Corbett/Hesperos fanfiction. Been cooking this in my head since 2022 and I have finally decided to try and write out the complete story of how they meet and fall in love. It's far from finished but it's a start!
