Working on the new aftercare manual.... here's a little piece of it / reminder: Downsizing is Necessary! *** Proper fitting jewelry is crucial to the long-term comfort, safety, and aesthetic of your piercing. Because newly pierced parts tend to swell, your piercer has most likely installed jewelry that is slightly longer than what will be appropriate for ongoing wear. Please visit us in a few weeks to get a better fitting piece. *** Jewelry that is too long for too long can... ||damage your teeth and gums (oral piercings)|| ||make your piercing migrate to an unappealing (crooked) angle|| ||easily snag on clothing, hair, towels, etc…|| ||look silly||

Amanda stopped by yesterday and upgraded her healed daith with some opally-goodness (pierced by Victor in April 2016). We also had the pleasure of installing one of our favorite pieces in her brand new conch piercing. Rheannon and Victor are piercing until 10pm.

Every implement (not just the needle) used during your piercing is disposed of immediately after use.  This helps to eliminate the risk of spreading pathogenic microorganisms from client to client.
