Meeting Jonah Keri (while watching the Blue Jays play October baseball with my brother) was definitely a highlight of the month. I took a shot and tweeted him during the pregame and not only did he come for a picture but hung out and talked baseball with us for a couple minutes. Good Canadian kid.

I really like hats because I think there's a story behind every one. I thought this hat looked pretty cool, it had a lot of character, so I took a picture of it at the rink. I know the man who wore it had a ton of stories, the things he must've seen in his lifetime. I can't even imagine. I never heard him say too much, but when he did it was a treat. When time runs out you'll always wish you listened more, to learn about life from another perspective just one more time. I just thought he was an interesting character, who wore cool old hats, and I wish I could've heard a few more stories. Gordon Johnston - Creelman, SK (at Creelman, Saskatchewan)
