There is...a way to fix it? Temporarily??
I have to go into my settings, toggle something on and then back off again [like the Best Stuff First toggle, but multiple things worked], and then click the little house icon SPECIFICALLY in order to return to my dashboard. This puts it back to normal until I refresh the page, or otherwise leave and come back to the dash.
Why is less than a quarter of the shit on my dashboard actually from people I follow and why is everything out of chronological order
