Character A and Character B are sleeping in the same bed, they are a couple. B has a nasty cold that is causing them to snore a lot. A is the type that gets bothered by it and wakes them up to tell them about it. B in a haze, tries to think of what they can do about it and they resort to blowing their nose. It's a long, grueling blow that makes you realize this cold has settled in their head for good. The blowing does help, making B's nose wheeze slightly, but nothing like the snoring. Just when A is about to get some sleep, B's nose fills up again, they start snoring and it's the same thing all over again.

It's going to be a long night...

Just had an idea about a song artist going to a concert and people throwing flowers at them, but it messes with their allergies until they're left sneezing frequently throughout the remainder of the concert. Idk, just something I thought up out of nowhere.

I've seen lots of storytimes about childhood experiences we've had, while we had no idea about snz or anything, so I am going to share one of mine too!

I was a fan of a cartoon growing up and while in class my friend just so happened to draw a SUPER TINY sketch of one of the characters being sick. Literally, i felt happiness I had never felt before (this might have been one of my first sick fanarts I had ever seen) and started asking them about it insisting that we talk about it like, what was the story behind it, how did they get sick etc. I even convinced them to go ahead and work on a sick "comic" with me during break that portrayed the story of that little sketch they drew, that went on for three panels before they LITERALLY snapped at me for being "so fixated on a silly sketch" and that they couldn't think of anything to add while I had SO many ideas on it lmao...

At the time I was hurt, bc I felt weird for being so interested in that, but now I know and excuse my smaller self for being so hyper about that... And now I can make my own snz/sick art and fics/scenarios ;;)) and even share them with people!

Thinking about k/aeya and that one hc of how when he's sick, he ALWAYS has chills. No matter what. Despite being a cryo user, his cryo vision and abilities just work against him. Basically whenever he is sick, he is just a shivering mess for a couple days before he can finally feel better.

His snz probably also comes out quite shaky? hh

K/aveh first cuz he's a senior

-Definitely has stuck sneezes

-Incredibly hitchy

-He's a bit sensitive to dust but it's not immediate, more of a slow tickling sensation that increases the longer he's exposed to it

-I dunno if he has an alchohol sensitivity but if he did... imagine him being all angsty and having to sneeze into his sleeve because he never remembers to carry a handkerchief

-K/aveh completely carries a handkerchief because he's dramatic asf but it's probably the fancy kind and not the practical kind

-His immune system is rubbish because he's bad at taking care of himself

- and he is incredibly dramatic when he's sick. He's written a will once when he had a particularly bad cold.

And Alhaitham... our lovable control freak

-His sneezes tend to be harsh. Not too loud... just forceful.

- is amazing at holdbacks

- Holds back until he physically can't anymore

-Except when sick because that would be a waste of energy

-Body temperature runs cold (hence the cape)

- Does care for others but it's more wanting them to be at peak productivity than sympathy

-Follows the medical book's instructions for all health related things

-Will work through a cold as long as he can actually work. Otherwise, he has no problem taking off.

-Al/haitham's headphones tend to fall off when he does sneeze unstifled

Ah!

Someone being incredibly sick, not having been able to sneeze all day and thinking that inducing will give them some much needed relief. While they are supposed to be asleep, probably their roomie or something has invited some people that they can hear being together with their roomie in the kitchen.

"Sorry for [person's name] not being here, they have a bit of a cold." The roomie says.

The person is super stuffed up and can't take the cement that has settled on their sinuses any longer. So they end up inducing to "sneeze out" the congestion.

However, because they have to be quiet, they don't manage to do much, on the contrary they feel worse than when they started.

"Oh, [person], you are awake! My colleagues/friends just left. How are you feeling?"

"Guh... Dot good at all..."

i think someone inducing themselves on purpose but then having to be quiet bc of company/ppl at the house is SO HOT.

Since we reached the point where we give sick doctors love, it felt horrible not sharing more sick doctor stuff since it's literally my biggest thing. (Hence B/aizhu being one of my favourite g/enshin characters)

A new, shy doctor that simply can't catch a break, especially during cold and flu season. They happen to have a horrible immune system and they are aware of it, but no amount of hand sanitizer, frequent mask changes or anything else can completely protect them.

They are often sneezing and sniffling around their co-workers, that seem to be much more resilient than them and they get glares or "Sick again?" comments. They are also often reminded that they could be contagious to patients.

As much as they would love to be at home, under a blanket, surrounded by tissues and soup, they don't allow themselves to take a day off merely because of a cold. They have to be at work because their patients need them, more than they need to rest. Or that's what goes on in their mind.

While treating patients, they turn their face away to cough or sneeze, which happens very often, prolonging a check-up that would take less than half an hour to complete to a full hour.

As they prescribe medicine to a patient, the patient looks at their glassy, tired and watery eyes and says:

"Doctor, you seem to need this more than I do, honestly."

a sickie that wakes up with the sort of dribbling, aching head cold that drapes over their head and face like a wet blanket, dreary, heavy, and wet. their sneezes are spraying and itchy and happen as soon as they wake up, and are followed by a watery sniffle. there’s a dull, pervasive ache through their head caused by a weighty pressure in their sinuses that gets worse when they put their legs over the side of the bed and sit dazed, staring down at their feet. they breathe through their lips a little and suspect their voice may be rounded out by congestion. they had been feeling under the weather yesterday and had even taken cold medicine to help with their aching throat and sniffles, but this morning it was clear they were coming down with something.

they sneeze and sneeze in the shower and rub their sinuses to no avail, they take cold medicine and stuff their pockets with tissues, they look in the mirror and see that their nose is dusted pink and their eyes look a little dreary and dazed, just like they feel. it feels like they didn’t get a very good night’s sleep, and on their way out the door they still feel like their head is filled with fog they can’t quite shake. everything feels achy, wet, itchy, listless. stepping into the rain outside prompts another flurry of wet sneezes, followed by a fullish sounding nose blow.

oh, they aren’t feeling very well. but hopefully this was the worst it would get…
