Tekken 8 came out, and I was wondering if you’d come back to write for them again :)

it did!! which honestly caught me off guard since I've been so busy lately, but I've seen a couple stills and clips here and there and it honestly looks so good??

as for writing for it, I think I will someday. like I mentioned in my update post, a lot of things are changing for me right now and it's hard to balance everything plus staying active here on Tumblr.

I most likely will return to write for tekken since (at least I hope!) the new game will generate some new fans and interest in the fandom. but as of right now, I really don't have much time to really sit down and write out requests :C

guess who is alive?! yeahhhh so I just wanted to pop on here to acknowledge my absence lol, plus the anon in my ask box asking if I'm still around 😂 which the answer is... kind of?

there's a lot of things going on in my lil life right now; nothing bad, thankfully, just a lot! I suppose that's what happens when you graduate from uni!

honestly my activity will likely have a lot more of these quiet periods because my schedule is literally so unknown at this point. while I attempt to be financially responsible (note: please do not sign a lease for an apartment that will make you broke) lol, I'm not sure how much time I'll realistically have for Tumblr.

but that doesn't mean I'm going away for good! it just means I'll be around less, which honestly I already was before this but I wanted to make an official post on the matter now.

I've taken breaks from this website a couple times before, and I've found that I always come back because I love it here. even when I'm gone for long stretches of time, I am always welcomed back by such kind, sweet folks. you all continue to give me the chance to live out my dream of writing for amazing people, and that's something I'll always return to and be grateful for.

I know all that made it sound like I'm leaving LOL, but I promise I'm not! But I owe it to all of you guys (especially to those that have made requests) to be clear and upfront about my activity. so if you've read this far, MWAH. I love you, stay safe, pay your credit card bill on time, drink some water, all that jazz.

I think Kazuya's first internal reaction is... Why? Because this man thinks the world of you, and believes that there is literally no one else more perfect than you.

In his mind, he can't imagine an angel on earth being insecure about anything because they are simply without flaw. That's how he feels about you.

But I think Kazuya eventually sees it in a more realistic way. Everyone is insecure sometimes, that's the way of the world unfortunately.

That doesn't mean that he's going to let you suffer in silence, however. Far from it.

You know how the man is; something's bothering him, he's sure as hell gonna come out and say something. There's no beating around the bush because he just thinks it's a waste of time!

So when he can tell that something's on your mind and you're upset, he will ask right away what's wrong. Some people might think his tone is brash or accusatory, but you know better. That's how he is, after all! And you love him for all of his gruff, grumpy ways.

Please don't try to sneak this past Kazuya, he will find out what's wrong and he only wants the best for you. So don't be embarrassed sharing how you truly feel; Kazuya would never dream of judging or shaming you.

It will take him a minute to process your words, and in an instant he understands. Even if he himself can't see it, he knows that your feelings are real for you.

Kazuya will hold you close and make sure you know that you are enough and more just the way you are. Everything you do makes him proud, all your hard work and efforts push him to be a better man every day.

He also makes a concerted effort to make sure you are reminded of these things more often. Kazuya isn't exactly the vocal type when it comes to praise or words of affirmation.

But for you? He would do that and more if it meant that you felt more secure in who you are.

So if you start finding little sticky notes with sweet and slightly deadpan compliments or encouraging words, know that Kazuya truly means every single thing he writes and says to you.

Just in time for Halloween, how would king handle horror movie marathons with his best friend ??

I am going to strategically pretend that it's still October and that this post isn't 14 days late 💀 I'm so sorry, but I still hope you enjoy it!

King hates to admit it, and he's kind of embarrassed, but he's never actually had the privilege of enjoying a movie marathon.

I know, I know, it seems crazy! But this man is busy busy. It's honestly a bit of a miracle that he has time for one now at all.

But King made a promise that he'd do this with you, and with horror movies at that. He really isn't as prepared as he thinks he is.

Now keep in mind that this guy is tough as nails, and looks the part. Most people give him such a wide berth that he parts crowds when he goes anywhere. Everyone is terrified of him, and it makes sense.

But King has never met a horror movie that doesn't scary the crap out of him. And while he'd sooner get the snot beaten out of him than admit that to anyone, to his best friend... Well, he feels comfortable telling you.

Just please don't laugh at him! He's genuinely embarrassed about it. But there's just something about the paranormal that doesn't sit right with him. Gives him bad energy, he says.

So when you suggest a horror movie marathon, he steels himself for what is likely to be a terrifying night. He's just glad you'll be there.

At first, King tries to distract you and himself with snacks while the first movie plays. He fidgets and tries to find a reason to open a new pack of snacks whenever something is about to happen on screen. You pick up on this pretty early on.

If you give him a bit of reassurance, he'll be brave. So by the second movie, he's peeking over the pillow when the scares happen. And it turns out?

It's not so bad after all! In fact, he's kinda starting to get into it. The scares make him jump, but not in a bad way. Soon enough, the man is crunching through the whole movie with no problems.

The only issue? Now you have to deal with King texting you about every horror movie he finds, and how he wants to have another movie marathon as soon as possible.

Steve and Hwoarang are all perceived differently so that was interesting! Honestly Forest is such a great choice because you know the man will stay humble no matter what. Can I request part 3 of King x bad guy reader?

So there’s a PPV on male reader’s hometown, and King & reader are part of a 4 way match with the championship on the line. King noticed that reader has been a little distant and more quiet than usual.

Towards the end of the match, reader gets knocked out at ringside and King and the champion are battling out in the ring. King does his signature move and goes for the pin.

Male reader suddenly gets in the ring, grabs King, throws him out (through the ropes), and pins the champion. 1,2,3 he’s now the new champion.

King gets up to see male reader, holding the championship, crying tears of joy while the crowd starts chanting “you deserve it!” Especially given that this is the first ever championship he ever won.

How would King feel? Would he be mad? Would he be happy for him? That’s up to you.

To be honest, I feel like King would be off because his partner is off. He's so in tune with the people that he does tag matches with that if he senses something's wrong with their energy, he'll get the same sort of feeling.

Of course it's unlikely to be caused by the same thing, but he almost mirrors his partner's vibe.

But when he gets into the ring with him, King tries to shake it off. Maybe he just thought he saw that they were upset and misunderstood, or he's just way too tired from training for this PPV.

They both get in the ring and things are fine for awhile, until that dreaded moment.

Everyone in the audience figures it's kayfabe, that this was an intentional spot and was done to set up a feud between the two of you. After all, King sells it like a work. It's extremely convincing.

The crowd loves his partner, though, and for a moment he doesn't even really think about what just happened. He's just proud that everyone is finally cheering for him, just like King always knew he deserved.

Hell, he worked his ass off every chance he got. It was a win he deserved, even if the win was... Confusing to King.

I think that feeling of pride doesn't fully wear off for King. Even after he walks back towards the backstage area, he sees him holding the belt and it just feels right. King had been fighting for his recognition with the higher ups for months.

At first he does think that this was scripted, just that he wasn't in on it. He can't help but think it's kinda genius.

But then he sees his reaction change again into something more sullen and distant, and King knows that something's not right.

Of course he wants to be mad at him. King feels hurt and embarrassed by the action. And during a PPV that nearly a million people were likely watching? It's a low blow.

But King just wants to understand, really. So he walks up to him and asks straight up: "what happened out there?"

It doesn't come out mean or venomous, it's genuine and filled with concern. Everyone else might think King's partner is a bad guy, but King's gotten to know him too well to truly believe that hook, line and sinker anymore.

King simply wants an honest answer, even if it's not something he wants to hear. The man is quite literally one of the most honorable, and will at the very least respect a man that owns up to his actions no matter what the motive was.
