Coming out from my hiatus (again) to address the asks re: are you going to take this down?

No. I said what I said. Bullying is not cool, making other writer’s life hell over social media is simply idiotic. Even if she’s the one who sent herself those hateful messages, I’m standing by what I’ve said in the last post (with the limited knowledge I had at the time of writing the post): authors are humans, don’t send them hate.

Re the last paragraph of my previous post: I am sorry for engaging in contents put out by minors. As someone who’s been around fics for a long while, I should’ve been able to discern the writing of a child from older writers’. I should’ve also been more careful about those whom I support and whose work I share. I am sorry that my lack of attention to details have led to several reposts of minor's smut fics, I'll be more careful in this aspect from this point onwards.

Now onto the minor situation in the fandom as of late: I do not condone minors lying about their age. I am, however, sympathetic to the younger members in our community that feel the need to lie about their age. I get it, the urge to fit in and wanting to be involve with other tumblr users can prompt inexperienced internet users to make mistakes like this. With that being said, if y’all can dish it out, you’ll have to learn to take it on the chin. The mimicry of adults and involving yourself in explicitly 18+ spaces invites backlashes, and unsurprisingly, quite a bit of anger!

Now- lesson learned, don’t do it again.

To Nimixie, sorry I left you a message a while ago. Knowing that you’re a minor now I’d like to leave an open letter instead: you’re an amazing writer. Keep up the good work, just keep the smuts in draft for the next few years- you’ll have plenty of time to post 18+ content when you’re eventually 18. For the time being, I hope you find age appropriate peers that you can have meaningful connections with. As for the hate messages you decided to send yourself, even if it’s just a huge hoax to get some attention, I still meant it when I said it reeked of insecurity; hope you find peace within.

As to all others that’s still here after my lengthy babbling, sorry for my absence these days! Hopefully when I come back for good next time I am able to put out some chapters and perhaps even some vetted reposts.
