rambly kinda post.

i really, really, REALLY think it would have been so....idk, i think the idea of rose running off from chris + his team off to romania, to learn more about her powers and also to find out who the hell her dad really was. and i think, instead of going inside of the mold, and going into different layers of the stratum, i think it would have been so so so so interesting that....even if the lords were technically killed by ethan, having the megamycete + bits and pieces of it recover the village. rose, having to go through each of the lords, learning about lady d and her daughters, about how she lost everything to ethan + because of miranda, finally having to face the truth with that, and like. going off to donna, having to go through the trauma of what she went through as a kid but then at the end, conneting with donna/angie, it’s a rough kind of connection, but they leave rose to live.

also, let rose live and finding a way to connect with her because of ethan’s influence of the megamycete and his love for rose being something that they can’t brush off!! moreau, hving to finally accept and find closure that mother miranda never loved him after fighting rose.....and then. finding heisenberg, and that’s such a messy fight. rose gets to find out about ethan through heisenberg, about how he thought he could use him + rose, and how her father  was adamant about how rose will never be used as a weapon. and how much her father loved her, and how much heisenberg resented that, and just....rose breaking down because she never got to meet her father while fighting against heisenberg.....

wanting to come to the village to try and get rid of her powers, but comes out stronger because of these bonds with the lords.......and then, mother miranda and rose duking it out, and she finally gets to meet ethan (kinda like the end of the dlc) and i just. maybe.....i kinda wanna write this out.......idk......IDK!!!! and also, mia would be there, coming to find her child, coming back to the village, despite the trauma and despair she felt - anything to make sure rose is safe. idk!!!!!! idk.......i just think the lords being alive and rose helping them get closure with everything would have been.....i love rose so much
