I had originally wanted to take eukaryotic cell biology instead of cancer bio but things didn’t quite work out that way. I also wanted biochemistry I instead of physics I but now I’ll have to push that off to the spring.

This summer I’m working at the same job I had last year for 25hr/week, helping out w a friend’s project in the microbio lab, working on an experiment in the neuropsychopharm lab, beginning a literature review in the same lab, and went abroad at the beginning of the summer

Last semester kicked my ass with 18 credit hours so this semester I’m taking it easier and things are going much more smoothly. I’m taking better care of myself and still getting my schoolwork done. I’m also going abroad at the beginning of this summer and focusing on research the rest of the summer.

My summer classes ended really well! I got 113 in Calc II and a 98 in my English 300 class even with my part time job. Classes for the fall start next week, and I’ve started preparing a little. I’ve been watching some videos for o chem and have been studying for my Spanish exam to hopefully be able to exempt from that class.

I may or may not continue this as a 100 days of productivity blog, but I will occasionally post updates and lists here to help keep myself motivated.

I haven’t really posted since my classes started back bc I’ve been too busy with the classes to keep track of everything.

Since classes started three weeks ago I have:

worked 45 hours at one job

worked 24 hours at the other job

taken two tests for Calc II (and another later today)

Written a 1850 word paper

recorded two presentations

completed a 51 page scrapbook journal for class

and completed a group of smaller assignments that added up to ~1600 words

baked a cake for a friend

went to the beach w friends for a weekend

This week by Friday I need to:

work 15 hours at job 1

work 8 hours at job 2

take my calc test today

write a 1750 word paper

give another presentation

do all my calc II homework for the week

Next week (the last week of classes) I have:

another calc test on Monday

calc final on Friday

another 1750 word paper

15 hours at job 1

6 hours at job 2

more calc homework

make cookies for class
