“Tested out different...weightings?” she tilted her head ever so slightly as she spoke. Before this, she hadn’t been much for anything but fun and games, so it was safe to say she knew nothing about most weaponry. Sure, she knew that certain types of blades were better than others, but she didn’t know the specifics of what exactly made them better. “I don’t...think so?”
She placed her dagger in his hand, her gaze returning to him once she had. It was no secret that Kaede liked keeping most of her efforts to herself, but she trusted Odin. After all, she knew a lot about him and he’d always been one of her favorites. Perhaps it was the way he talked, since most of the time it made her laugh even if she didn’t want to. Yet, here she was at a loss. If Odin could solve the problem, then that would certainly help her contribute more. Not to mention she’d be sure to spend more time training him in hopes of thanking him properly.

“I don’t have a third eye, Odin…I thought I’d be good at this by now, but I’m still missing. I’ve been practicing for months…How the holy hell do Jakob and Felicia do it…?”
A sigh escaped the woman as she went to retrieve her blade. Such mistakes had been commonplace while she was practicing, though, looking at it, that didn’t make much of a difference. The only thing she felt that she was even vaguely good at was summoning and directing the heroes. If she was being completely honest with herself, she thought Robin would be far better at that than she could possibly ever be.
“ If it might set your mind at ease.. your struggles aren’t uncommon, dear summoner! Tis noble that you’d chose to take up the way of the blade, even when you already do so much for this cause, but even I suffered many times over in the pursuit of destiny’s call! In youth, mother pushed me towards healing, but I’d a lacking talent—blades and the arcane both call to me, but the former always seems to win out. ”
He followed after the summoner as she went to retrieve the dagger, before reaching a hand out to ask for her to hand over the blade. If making light of the situation wouldn’t bring a smile to Kaede’s face, Odin would do his best to actually solve the problem!
“ Though, I may be able to assist, even if I’ve no talent for throwing blades! Have you tested out different weightings for your daggers? If we can find one suitable to your strength and style of throwing, it may assist in your efforts. If it’s too light, the blade becomes difficult to control and tend to bounce back—too heavy, and you’ve difficulty getting it to go far enough to reach the target. ”

“I...can’t say it is, Princess. But don’t worry, I’ll make sure you’re comfortable and happy here. I promise.”
Kaede smiled once more, looking over the princess contentedly. Sure, she’d done this many times before, but it was always a new and exciting experience. That, and helping the Heroes adjust always felt rather nice to the summoner. As if she was doing something important. It was a rather wonderful feeling.

She accepted the hand, taking steps with all the strength and grace of a baby deer, just now learning how to walk. Her eyes continued to wander with curiosity. So this place of called Askr…
“Askr, huh! Is that anywhere near where I’m from, ooor?” Something tells her it was nowhere near Nohr or Hoshido.

I can’t believe it! She’s even cuter in person~!
The summoner cleared her throat after a moment in attempts to regain her composure. She needed to be professional at this time, not freak out like a fan girl. Slender fingers reached outward, not only to shake the girl’s hand, but to help steady her if by chance she needed it.
“Welcome to Askr.”

Kaede’s lit up as she noticed which hero had been summoned. She made her way forward, knowing that summons could be a bit disorienting at times. A gentle wave was given before she spoke again.

“I don’t have a third eye, Odin...I thought I’d be good at this by now, but I’m still missing. I’ve been practicing for months...How the holy hell do Jakob and Felicia do it...?”

Small hands covered her face out of embarrassment. She’d meant to show off how proficient she’d got with her daggers yet, somehow she messed up. The weapons had gone in a completely different direction than where she’d aimed and nearly gotten stuck in the tree. The only thing comforting her was the fact that she hadn’t hit anyone.

Kaede jumped at the suddenness of the other speaking and quickly moved to put her plans away. She cleared her throat and shook her head, trying to clear her thoughts. it was merely a person. Just another person like her. There was no reason to be frightened.
“S-sorry I um...well, that is...there’s an advance from the west here. i’m not quite sure what all they entail, but I know there shouldn’t be too many, so I was going to take a few of my fliers and a healer...you didn’t ask that. Goodness, I’m rambling...”

"It looks so lovely out there already. I missed seeing all this green!" it was rather hard for her to hide get excitement. The warm weather always made her happy, perhaps it was mostly because of the flora and fauna she got to see. The world of heroes had far lovelier things to see, however. She gave Odin's hand a gentle squeeze and a soft hum escaped her.

"You want to spend time with me? Odin, that's so sweet. I'd like that." a light shade of pink spread across her cheeks as she spoke. How nice it was to hear that someone wanted her company. She heard it from the younger heroes plenty but it rarely came from the heroes that were near her in age and older. It felt rather comforting just to hear, even if by chance it wasn't true.
“That’s very kind of you to say, Odin.” she began toying with her free pieces of hair as they spoke. Such compliments made her feel rather nice, especially when they came from the heroes she admired most. Though, in truth that was almost all of them.
