This kid was getting fiesty. The bitingly cold snow hit his face, knocking him slightly backwards. He kept his balance, if only barely. "I will throw ice at you if I have to, Samantha." Samantha. He had to remember that one for future reference.

Let It Snow, Let It Snow || Sam & Dean

Dean’s alarm buzzed relentlessly at 7:45 that morning. He groaned at what seemed like blinding light piercing through the shades over his window. Dean sat up slowly, and walked over to his window. Peering out he noticed that, in fact, the light seemed so bright because everything outside was covered in snow. “Oh, hell yes.” Outside, snow fell lightly to the ground, covering everything for miles. “Sam, wake the hell up, it’s snowing.” Dean yelled across the small house. No response, though not surprising. Sam had been out with some guys late last night. It would be understandable that he was tired, and Dean didn’t want to wake him up. Wait, who was he kidding- he totally did. Dean threw on some pants and a large jacket, and went outside to get a good amount of snow. He walked quietly into his brother’s room and dumped the snow in his hands onto his brother. “Morning, sunshine.”

Dean turned from his locker, facing her. He hoped it was a joke, and responded as he would if it were. "Yes, Jo, you figured it out. That's step one of my of my evil scheme." He chuckled, hoping she wouldn't take it seriously.

Jo didn’t make friends easily, but somehow it was easy for her to befriend Dean Winchester. Dean became the big brother Jo never had but always wanted. He was one of the few people with whom Jo was comfortable enough to show physical affection. For some reason, though, she’d been seeing less and less of him lately. She thought maybe Dean was giving her the cold shoulder, but she kept seeing him with a dark haired, blue eyed boy. Jo bore no ill will towards Dean’s new friend, but she was beginning to wonder if they were indeed just friends. She hated to assume things, so she decided to discover the truth of the matter from Dean himself. She found him at his locker after school, gathering up his books, so she decided now was the perfect moment to strike. Jo came to a standstill behind Dean, reached up, and covered his eyes with both of her hands. If Dean couldn’t figure out it was her in under five minutes, she’d be highly offended.

"I just thought we'd hang out, since there's no school," Dean shrugged, looking at Castiel, "And, uh, that's what people in a relationship are supposed to do, I guess." He gestured for Castiel to stand next to him. Dean sighed, his breath visible. Castiel obliged, and Dean took his hand out of his pocket, taking Castiel's hand in his. Was this what people did in relationships? Dean had been in plenty, but he had never felt so nervous about one before.

He was going to have to walk to school, but he didn’t live that far away. He stuck his phone in his pocket and put on his gloves and tried to hurry through the snow to meet up with Dean.
