Kamui looked at the wolf man before him and crossed his arms narrowing his eyes brows a bit as he frowned unsure. Flannel always had all of these .... strange things to show everyone and he usually liked showing his strange things to kamui despite he honestly thought it was really fucking disgusting, he brought in dead animals sometimes and weird balls of mud and other things he honestly had no clue what it was, but as long as flannel asked for kamui typically tolerated his weird .... “ treasures “ 

“ What on earth do you have flannel .... it’s not something dead is it ? If it’s something dead i’m leaving “ He spoke honestly and a little harshly because his act, around flannel, had dropped a while ago, purely because he was someone from somewhere so far away he didn’t know who he was and it was also kinda hard to keep hid disgust to himself when having a weird animal carcass shoved in his face in the past.

Kamui kicked the ground as he crossed his arms. He was watching Aqua’s retainer fiddle around with things and had his eyes half lidded. She was amusing to watch, she messed up a lot, made a lot of funny sounds and expressions and was just all around really strange for someone who spent so much time in nohr, a place that was apparently terrible from aqua’s words. He didn’t know how Felicia actually felt on him because she didn’t know ... him, she knew his persona, his ego ... his mask. That bitter fake smile he wore and those fake words he let fall from his mouth

“ Hey Felicia ~ Are you trying to make tea again ? or cookies this time ? The last ones were really nice “ it was a lie, he probably hated them but saying such a truth was impossible, he had to be nice ... even now he had to be. “ Maybe i could help you, I bet you could teach me somethings maybe “ no, he already knew how to cook, to bake everything. He knew how, again just really humoring her and trying to make her feel better about herself.

“ Maybe we could make something for Aqua, that’d make her pretty happy.... “

      Aqua had elected to ignore the way he frivolously tossed aside her actions in saving him, merely attributing such behavior to that of his usual kind. Though her face had softened at the compliment. It was in her best interest to keep such a comment, especially when it came from Kamui, safe in her mind. She tactfully decided to not inform him of it though, for he would likely protest such an action.

      But alas, in no time flat, her features had known scorn once again. “ A Prince you may be, but I am no court jester. I do not perform at your demand. ” She watched as his hair scattered about from the heavy sigh that left him. Honestly, was it so hard for him to be polite? Then, much to her surprise, he proves her wrong. A smile paints her face, pleased that he, thoughbegrudgingly, had at last asked nicely (well, as nicely as he was capable of.)

      “ Ah, to hear such a sweet word from you, I would almost say that it suits you, ” she has a moment of fun with him, but quickly prepared herself to follow through on her side. “ Very well. I shall sing for you. ”

      She began to hum softly, preparing her voice for what was to come. When her lips finally parted, swells of power rose up from her throat. Her voice rolled across the lands they occupied. Her hand was drawn to her heart as she reached higher notes, and her head tilted back so she could sing them. Her voice had become music, clear and true, and the brief melody she sang held a promise. A promise of peace, one she hoped was not lost on her listener.

“ A court jester ... ? I didn’t know those things still existed but then again Iago does exist, I suppose. “ He snickered a bit at the thought of the man that could be no better described as a greasy court jester. So there was no way that kamui would never compare aqua to such a ... person. He was below him in every way possible and kamui knew that iago was nothing compared to him and he hoped to face him again so he could knock his head off.

“ Suits me - ? Please, Kindness isn’t suited for me “ Now maybe that was said to admit and it was honestly hard to tell if he was joking or serious though once she started to hum he shifted and sat in a more comfortable position as she started to sing out words of a song he didn’t recall her ever singing before. He closed his eyes as he listened, it was quite calming and relaxing, maybe even reassuring in some ways. She was very different from him so maybe he could learn from her 

“ Hmm hmm ~ Alright that was quite good, I’ll give you that “

      To speak so callously of such a sacred song, it caused her brow to furrow more so than the nagging his voice possessed. Still, excluding his delivery of such a request, she finds herself debating if his intrigue is well warranted. Kamui new her as a songstress, but what good is such a title if he’s only heard one tune?

      “ It’d do nicely if you wouldn’t demand it from me. ‘ That one song ’ has saved you before, I have you know, ” she is dutiful to reestablish the import of the special melody, but is mindful to soon draw attention to his wishes, for she knows Kamui will merely pester her again if she didn’t. “ Though, I would not oppose the opportunity to sing you something else… ” She paused for a moment, then decided to tack on an ultimatum.

      “ …As long as you ask again, nicely this time. ”

“ Yeah yeah magic song .... saved me from going crazy, super sacred to your family or whatever - It sounds pretty that’s I really care about “ He spoke without worry really, it sounded pretty and he hardly remembers the words though it probably only sounded pretty because Aqua had a nice voice, he’d only really compare her voice to his mothers who soothed him to sleep many times with hoshido lullabies.

“ Eh ?! Ask nicely ? I’m a prince, I shouldn't have to ask nicely for anything. “ he puffed his cheeks out a bit though blew the air out of his mouth and up to his bangs “ Alright because it’s you. Please sing me some song Aqua “

That was as nice as she was going to get, just a please tacted on to his previous demand but it was something right ? He wasn’t good at all that nice stuff, he usually had things handed to him even if he wasn’t a loved prince like the hoshido siblings were, but thinking about such things did leave a pit in his stomach,as it was just Aqua and her retainers right now with them, since when he tried to quell the fighting between two nations they were both labels traitors and had to flee.
