And here we are, overbleed.info will close sooner or later, as I couldn’t pay the fees anymore.

It’s been a big time investment of mine and I was quite happy with it (well, for the database at least, and excluding the design ^^ ) and I know there are still quite a few players using it today, and to those I’d like to apologize for closing it on such short notice. (though I guess I warned long ago that I would do so)

Anyway, this probably marks my very last involvement in the GE community, which was both the worst (come on, we all know most of sGE is toxic !) and the best (why would I have stuck with the game so long if I didn’t like it ?) at the same time !

To all those still playing the game, I wish you to have fun.

is there a way I can use this database offline etc without need for website etc? and could you tell us how to get/use the database from Ge files? as this is so useful to help when I have any questions thanks Del

It *is* possible if you would rewrite all the awful PHP code I wrote.To extract the data you can use my ies parser, it’s on my github pageAll the data used comes from various ies files that I converted to SQL databases

Overbleed update

I am currently updating the database... and it might be the last time I do it for a long while unless people remind me of it.

The main reason is that I grew tired of GE, quitted, and that I’m kinda busy. The website will still be running until the next time I have to pay the domain name, since nobody ever cared to donate a cent.

Ok, so my ge chars application update will be delayed a bit, google just sent me :

Do not use others' branding or product names at the start of your app title without permission. This implies association and is misleading for users. Instead, use "for [ product or brandinsert name ]."    

I'll try to change the wording and see if it gets accepted.

Ok so, what I can do, and what I can't :

I can extract the drop list of the raids and all other informations (items needed to enter, location, tips, level of the bosses etc)

I can't have the roulette list anymore, it's loaded on request, and is sent only by the server, not in the files anymore (I checked all the files with the names of the roulette from the missionlist, and no match. Plus I confirmed it by blocking my connection while viewing the list. Drops are displayed fine but not roulettes)

I updated sGE database, but I have bad news. I did hear about rumours saying that jGE removed the data of the roulettes from the game files, and the same thing actually happened with GEeu.

Instead of the list of the roulettes and their reward, the file now has a single word : "Sorry".

It seems IMC discovered the fact we published roulettes information...

So now what should I do ? Put some back-ups of the roulettes? Just remove the page ? Waiting for your suggestions.

At the moment sGE still has the roulettes file, but who knows for how long (it's probably linked with armonia ep4/ep5.

New IES Format

IMC started changing the .ies format a bit over the patches... And the tools I used simply broke.

So I had to write my own IES parser so that I'll still be able to update my database...

Anybody willing to add something, modify or just use it to extract data from the game... Feel free to do so.

I would have given my database source code if I was not so ashamed of it.

As a side note, my GE characters android app sources... disappeared when I formated my HDD. I simply don't know if I forgot to back it up or to copy it back... And I won't have access to my backup disk before a few weeks. Well... yeah, it sucks.

If anybody's interested in helping me with the db, feel free to contact me. I'm awfully busy lately and that's why I don't play nor update it a lot. Sorry for that.

PS:The parser can only read .ies files, but it wouldn't be difficult to create something that writes .ies... If some people want to mod the game... ^^

I had the same problem, so I'll explain what I did to fix it :

delete the following files (get a backup of your shortcuts if needed) in your GE/release folder:

user.xml

client.xml

You will probably need to delete the user/ folder too.

In case it isn't enough, (assuming it's an nvidia card) go into the nvidia control panel -> 3d options -> GE -> reset to defaults

I updated my graphics card driver and now my GE crash makes my laptop freeze. And it crashes every few minutes. And add this with lag that begins mid afternoon and goes until early morning. But can strike randomly in daytime so afk is impossible. Can give up on the Kito event too. My last Ancient En Celar and drop rate manual got wasted. Each day can only afk 30mins max before dc. And it’s really unaffordable to buy the Energy of Ocean from the MM. Time to retire from GE I think.
