10 years ago I found out my biggest inspiration in DJing had passed away yesterday. DJ AM paved the way for what is now a lucrative billion dollar industry in DJing and nightclub entertainment. He tried new things all the while also set a new standard. He was a business man. He was innovative and determined. Adam, thank you for all you did. I’ll never forget watching you live at EDC 2009 front and center. I caught a sticker I put on my first DJ lap top (Toshiba) as good luck. I’m forever grateful for the goals I’ve accomplished in my career and the places I’ve gone. Knowing that I still have more left to accomplish, I always turn back and remember it all started because of you. Wish we could have met sometime...but I know we’ll meet someday. Love you dude.
