#Mollymauk died and Tumblr was screaming about it. I legitimately thought some actor killed a real person live on the internet. #then I realized everyone was just screaming about fiction. I checked it out and went 'oh this seems like my kind of thing' #Started on Campaign 1 but then looked at how long the episode was and how many there were and said 'I do not have time for that' #closed the tab and meant to never look back. #friend started playing D&D and said I should check out CritRole #just so I could know how dice rolls work and what a modifier is and whatnot. get an idea of how the game works. #Campaign 1 episode 1 again. #And uh. well I've. I've watched them all. #uhhhhhhhh. multiple times. #VM and M9 twice each. BH I've kept current with. #Then Brennan was on Calamity #and I was like 'OHHHHH okay I get why everyone loves this guy' #watched the D20 seasons that were on YouTube #then clips of Game Changer made me get a Dropout sub #Still have not consumed Adventure Zone #But I play with my own group now YAY! #I love them and I would die for their characters. AND ACTUALLY COULD #because I keep tanking. I shouldn't tank. #But I built a stagehand who's whole career is Be Ready To Save Other People If Needed #So she WILL turn herself into a human shield #She would just love it if she's never eaten or covered in goo ever again

Sure as hell you receive quite the number of asks, can only hope you’ll see this one. It may be my second ask of this kind and I’m not trying to spam but I happen to have… slightly miscalculated something. Trying to ask does no harm though.

Some time ago, like a bit more than a month, I sent you an ask saying that I’d mailed you a drawing, but there’d been a bit of a mess with the address and I couldn’t be sure wether you’d receive it, asking if I could send it here just in case. You did answer (thanks!) and I did send it some time after, cause well I kinda was on a stage in the meantime, so I guess you didn’t see that at all, and well. I underestimated my curiosity ‘bout what you’d think of it. A Hercules-Corona Borealis Great Wall-sized bit of curiosity. It’d just be really really really cool if I had the certainty you saw this drawing here. It has some meaning to me, at least. It’s only that like, I use art as my only way to express positive emotions since I was quite little, I seem to be learning only now at almost 21 (and thanks to your works I’d add) to do so other ways than that. My approach to life seems to have been a bit of a mess since… well, always. And a bit of an unusual life it’s been. So here it is:

Some of it is charcoal, some is sewn, some is sand. I just kinda skipped the choosing-technique part.

most of the talk on this website about Game Changer is how Sam Reich psychologically tortures his contestants, but I want to make it clear to the uninitiated that he's actually extremely ethical about it

He sends out a company wide email and asks them to choose episodes based on a chili pepper rating system

meaning he doesn't put 🌶️🌶️ people into 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ episodes

they're also big on consent ie cast and crew have to be okay with it before they'll do nudity or something like that in an episode

it's like the bdsm of psychological torture. safe, sane, and consensual.

the thing that gets me is that very soon before Sam makes his move Matt literally is like "well, it's an opportunity" while the rest of the cast is freaking out over what seems like a very possible TPK, he's completely emotionally prepared for that, but he's not even a little emotionally prepared for what ACTUALLY happened.
