One of my favorite tricks for designing alien species/cultures is to take a real animal with an interesting lifecycle and think about what that biology would translate to if they had human intelligence

Tabaxi (and other animal-kin) in my world are more like this and less like khajeet.

They are a lot like Tiefling, but with fey ancestry instead of infernal. Like all creatures in my world with nonhuman ancestry, they start with 1 level of sorcerer (wild magic in this case).

In the Super Mario Bros movie from 1993, Iggy and Spike are his dimwitted cousin nepo-babies. So… not his children per se.

Just because nintendo SAYS the Koopalings aren’t Bowser’s kids, doesn’t mean they aren’t his kids. You can’t have a bunch of kid underlings and NOT just instantly be their father. Even if it’s not biological…. BESIDES, it’s canon that all babies come from storks in that world, let the man just have a horde of babies because the stork won’t STOP SENDING THEM.
