No one is discrediting the student protests. I myself am a student who is partaking in largely student-coordinated protests, drives, campaigns… but I also understand that we are largely missing the point if coverage of these protests overshadows what they are actually protesting for—the atrocities committed on Palestinians every single day. As the western buzz around this genocide gets more and more coverage, the coverage of the genocide itself sharply declines. It’s true and I see it every single day. Things are not being reported with the precision and diligence with which they should be.
That was a really cute scene. Having a little moment of support from one reformed villain to another is a great idea. It's nice that Princess Luna's role as the initial antagonist of the first episode wasn't forgotten.
challenged myself to make simpler redesigns that match the show constraints because I often create very complex designs and I wanted to see if I could make something I liked without going too over the top!! pretty happy with these [:
if you have any questions about my design choices ask away!!
There is nowhere safe in Gaza due to Israeli bombardment, especially now, with around 1.4 million Palestinians being cornered in Rafah with nowhere to turn to. Operation Olive Branch has created a spreadsheet with over 100+ families evacuating Gaza.
Donate at least $20 to a family whose story resonates with you, and I will give you all 3 stickers for free.
See Operation Olive Branch's spreadsheet here
Send proof of donation/see more instructions for stickers at the form here
Donate as much as you can!! And please keep donating for the sake of helping people, even after all the fundraisers are over!!!!!
A Palestinian father playfully balances his son on his right hand at the beach in Gaza City early one evening.
The coast of Gaza has grown increasingly popular over the years. It had always been a sight for weary eyes but with Israel’s siege denying Gazans the freedom to move, its seemingly endless seascape offers, for many, a very tangible escape, even if only temporal. It has also become a very popular family destination. Entire meals are prepared, served, and eaten here, and it is not uncommon to stay the night, father, son, and all.

I don't think people truly understand the gravity of Rafah being bombed.
There is nowhere left to go.
The lowest cost is $5,000 USD to flee to Egypt. There has been people paying over $10,000 USD.
That is the only option
Pay or die.
Rafah was the only place in Palestine promised not to be bombed. That promise is broken.
1.5 million people have nowhere to go!
Reminder, if possible, please donate to the PCRF, ANERA, Islamic Relief, Palestine Red Crescent Society, Medical Aid for Palestinians, Defense for Children International - Palestine, Doctors Without Borders, and all other trusted organizations.
Reposting this from Twitter because I want people to see it and ruminate on it.
For those curious, I took a screenshot of that shithead instead of QRTing to avoid giving them engagement, since I know blue checks get paid for that on Twitter and I'd rather not give them any more money. Not the point though.
Remember that doomerism and defeatism are the greatest weapon of the enemy and that ours is hope. Hope never truly goes out; please hold on to it.
Artists Against Apartheid has a beautiful collection of free-to-use posters related to Palestine. These are some of my favorites. I've also included their mission statement at the end
