Cuddling With The Tenth Doctor Would Include

Ten is so cuddly, but he also squirms. It’s sometimes hard for him to keep still.

He has a vice grip on you when you cuddle. His hearts are just so full of love and adoration that it can come out as aggressively affectionate.

When you can get him to actually go to bed and rest, you’ll often wake up to at least one of his limbs draped over your body.

He loves to nuzzle into your neck when you cuddle. Bonus points if you ruffle or play with his hair. It’ll practically make him purr.

If you’re having a chill day (very few and far between with him) he’ll languish across your lap, talking endlessly and smiling at you.

The bed shifted slightly as you felt a weight behind you. Common sense only decided it was F/O finally winding down for the night and finding their spot beside you.

You didn't say a word, no indication you even realized they were there. Something was wrong.

You tried to hide it throughout the day and now lacked the energy required. Your walls were crumbling already, the slightest push and-

"S/I?"

You looked back at them, eyes full of fatigue.

They knew the answer but asked anyway, "you ok?"

You gave a slight and very unconvincing nod before turning back over. Tears burned at your eyes. You knew they meant the best but the very idea of talking right now felt like a challenge.

If you could just fall asleep before you broke-

You flinched as two arms quickly wrapped around you, holding you tight and close.

That was the final straw.

Tears finally began falling as you desperately attempted to silence your small sobs and regain your composure. They only held you tighter as your breathing became more ragged.

"You don't have to act like you're ok all the time. You're allowed to break."

Their words only pushed you further, you'd been pent up for far too long and every negative emotion had finally found it's way out.

They pressed their forehead against the back of your head for that small bit of extra comfort, "don't worry, S/I."
